Great portable affordable compressor!!!
I use this product solely to fill my PCP airguns it's a great little compressor the only issue I have is it supposed to come with grease so you can service it after 50 hours of use and I just open the second one and there's no grease other than that satisfied.....Update... I e-mailed the seller about the grease issue. I received a prompt response informing me that the compressors have been updated and no longer require you to service them with grease after 50hrs of use or anytime after that. It seems the oroblem was that the updated compressors wete being shipped with the old owners manuals. They were very apologetic and assured me that I shouldn't have any problems with my compressor and instructed me not to try to service it with any sort of grease because it would be detrimental to the workings of the compressor. I must say they set my mind at ease. I mean this is a 4500psi compressor so you can understand i was a little worried about keeping it in proper working order. After receiving their e-mail and corresponding with them I must reevaluate and give this little compressor a full 5 stars. It exceeds my expectations and performs better than described. I use it with my Benjamin Bulldog and it fills from 1500 up to 3000psi in about 8min. Not only that its relatively quiet and highly portable. I've run it off both my car battery and the wall outlet converter and it works great off of both. The other great thing is it came with a quick disconect already attached and it fit right on my gun. Oh and it has an automatic shut-off you can set so you don't have to babysit it while it fills. If you're looking for a good, self contained, portable high pressure compressor at a great price this is it.

Wish I had found it sooner!!!
I recently purchased a GX CS3 compressor. It works perfect. I bought a PCP rifle at the urging of my son-in-law. Not knowing how much other stuff I was going to need, i.e. large tank for air to refill the gun and a place to get the large tank refilled. All of that stuff cost more than the gun not to mention it is a 45 mile round trip to get the tank refilled. So after some research I found the GX CS3 compressor. Problems solved! It is not the cheapest remedy, but I think one of the best. There are other brands that are very similar so you should look around before deciding on one. I opted for the version with auto shutoff over the manual model because I didn't want to have watch constantly so as to not over fill my gun.. I have a Diana Storm Rider with a 100cc tank. It fills it from zero to 200 bar in about 3-1/2 minutes. As far as the compressor goes I was surprised at how small it is and how quiet it is. Overall I am extremely pleased and can not recommend it enough. How long it holds up remains to be seen. Update 5/24/2021 I just filled my 18 cu ft Omega bottle from 1800 PSI to 4350PSI in about 25 minutes. I did it in two stages of 13 minutes each and let the just the fans run for 15 minutes between filling and after the final fill. The manual says 2-3 minutes, but I wanted to make sure that it was cool. I did check it with a laser temp gage and the case in front of the fan never got over 95 degrees. I don't know what it should get to as far as temperature is concerned because the manual does not mention it. After using it a few times to fill my gun and small 13 cu in bottles (which take about 3 minutes from 0 to 3000) I have to say I am really pleased with it and recommend it. How long will it last is another matter, but I am hoping for the best.

Working So far
Just received it, so i can't comment on longevity of the product, but it's working good for now- I have used it only 3 times so far to fill a 200 bar air rifle with, which takes about 3-4 minutes. There is quite a powerful odor coming from the converter though, but it doesn't smell like it's burning, more of a weird kind of sweet plastic smell. The machine is pretty quiet, a little hard to talk over if you are right next to it, but not too bad- I'll give it 4 stars for now- I think the machine should come with a good air/oil filter on the line to prevent moisture going into gun though for this price- But overall i am happy with the machine so far. To make it truly portable, I'll get a tractor battery, and a battery maintainer and use that instead of using the battery on the car- when i get home, plug in the maintainer, and be good to go in short order with fully charged battery- One youtube reviewer says he gets quite a number of fills before he has to recharge the battery- certainly enough fills to be good for a couple of outings to the range- Update: Mine never worked right fro m the start- would start up (the fan would turn on when the power button was turned on) but would die as soon as i hit the start button for the compressor- then i would turn off the power switch, turn back on and nothing- no fan, nothing- tried a few times, then it started again, and this time the start switch would work and it would pump the gun fine- but then next time, same issue would happen- today, after only 5 uses- actual uses- it decides it doesn't want to turn on at all now- no power, no start switch- nothing. I just had to email the seller- just contacted them through amazon- so we'll see what they say

Excellent PCP Air Compressor! A VERY Happy Customer for my Air Rifle Fun!
Excellent GX CS3 PCP Air Compressor! I have used several different types of PCP air compressors with my friends and never found one that I wanted to invest my money into as some were too loud, some too slow, some too messy with oil and or water and most were all too bulky and too heavy. Add up all those negatives and you can understand why I was not happy to pay for any of those. Then I found this one! The GX CS3 PCP Air Compressor! No water hassles and no oil hassles (it has built in fans to cool it). Supposedly not too loud (it was not, I could easily talk to someone in the same room). Supposedly could be used from my 110v house socket (Yes, it worked great as it comes with an included transformer to run from my 110v house current!) or from my car battery (Yes, that too worked great as it has wiring and clips to attach right to the car battery). Did I mention the auto-shutoff yet? Yes, it has one and it is adjustable! Did everything work as hoped. To sum it all up as quickly as possible, YES! It worked flawlessly with every feature that I mentioned. The craftsmanship was impressive. Also, one of the best features is its size and weight as it is small and light and extremely portable. Easy to lift, easy to carry, easy to set up with running from either the house or the car. I held off reviewing it until I received it and used it several times, so my above comments were after I had used it on many occasions as my kids and my wife all have PCP air rifles! Upon receiving it I had a feeling that I was going to love it. The packaging was triple secure, meaning it had 3 strong layers of boxes, foam, ties, staples, you name it, this thing was packaged excellent. The instructions were also good and easy to understand. Tools and small supplies came with the unit which were nice additions. I can keep everything together and know that I have all the tools if needed. Using it on PCP air rifles, the speed of filling up the tanks was excellent for its size. Much easier than all the messy, heavier ones and much easier than manual pumps. Soon I will have some photos to post and a small video. Go for it, you will be quite happy with all of its capabilities and ease of use, especially with being so lightweight and portable. I usually do not write such long reviews but did so as it made my air rifle adventures a lot more fun for me and the family! Enjoy!

Burn feature not mentioned
I really want this thing to be awesome because it’s exactly what I need but after using it once, I’m not sure if I got a bad one or what. They say they test them and it even has a certificate on it that’s been filled out by hand. Brand new pump and brand new ninja 4500psi tank. I try to fill the tank and I stopped the compressor around 1500psi because I wanted to check up on it since it’s my first time using it. For whatever reason the spring around the air hose was hot enough to burn whatever it touched including my finger. I turn it off and slowly open the pressure relief valve. When I do that, water comes dripping out of the valve as well as the little hose on the bottom of the unit. I try to figure out what was going on and realize the little o rings in the whip have been moved out of position. I fix them and make sure they are seated properly and leave the fans running for about 20 minutes before I try again. I used the air in the tank in the mean time, so now my air tank has around 500 psi in it. I try to add another 500psi and same story. The air hose coming out of the unit is searing hot. I shut it down and when I turn it back on the fans spin but the led on the off switch doesn’t turn on, so now I can’t use it at all. I really would like to use this because of how compact it is, and it will work perfect for me. But for 500 bucks I got burned, literally. I hope there is a way

Working Strong - 13 hrs service life in 8 months
I have been using the compressor for the past few months and I'm a little over 3 hours of total runtime. I'm keeping a log for duration of fill, vessel size filled and starting / finishing pressure. Most of the fills have been on a 300 cc, 250 Bar rifle (130 to 250 Bar fill pressure) and fills are 10 to 11 minutes, but include TUXING 4500Psi Air Compressor filter. I also have filled a new 1.6L/98ci 300 Bar tank, just broke it up into 3 batches of 25 min pumping, 25 min cooling. Seems like everything has broken in well, no leakage from the purge/exhaust port (did initially, but not anymore). I liked the length and quality of the 12v lines from the compressor so I can run this from my SUV should I need to do so. I had (briefly, but returned it) another brand compressor and the 12v lines were too short, these will work with the height of my SUV. I did buy the 3-yr warrantee... just to cover all bases. UPADTE 8 months and over 13 hrs still as strong as day one. UPDATE 30 months and 20 hrs and still good as day one. I did relube the upper head.... but couldn't get to the lower part, nor high pressure side, and didn't try to do the gearbox. Maybe if things stop performing well I will be motivated to figure out how to do a full overhaul.

CS3 GX Piston Guide and High Pressure Cup
FIVE YEAR UPDATE 08-09-2025: Compressor is still going strong! Typical fills to 260 bars take about the same amount of time,17 minutes, for my FX bottle. Keep it greased, don't over heat it, let it cool for a minute or two after a fill. Happy shooting and stay safe! ONE YEAR UPDATE: Compressor was not developing pressure above 175 bar, after weekly use from March 2020. Jason at Ankul was contacted and I requested a new second stage piston cup seal. A picture of the damaged part was sent, along with a description. New cup seal installed, spare next to old one in picture above. Parts came to me in FIVE DAYS!!! WOW! All from e-mail in one day! Compressor runs like new again, silicone grease coated the piston and ready for another year of shooting. Amazing service from Jason at Ankul! But wait, there is more: A new, re-designed second stage piston assembly is also available! Old design on bottom, new piston above. Looks like a heat separator between the metal stem and the soft piston cup seal. This should help reduce "melt down" of the cup. Time will tell. Thanks again Jason and Ankul! Norm ------------------ Original Review: Used this since March 2020, filling 480cc bottles 4 to 5 times a week, with no issues, until what I thought was a change in sound from the unit. I looked in the front grease port and saw what I thought looked like a failure in the piston seal... took a photo and sent it to Ankul, the distributor I purchased the unit from. THAT SAME DAY he responded to my inquiry AND checked with the FACTORY regarding my problem. The factory tech assured us that my photo of the ring-sleeve was normal and just a guide used to center the piston! Not a failure! WOW, fast and direct contact with the manufacturer. I have not had any reduction of output, and the compressor functions as the day I bought it. The sound must have been a temporary variable, of no consequence. GREAT COMPRESSOR! Keep it cool, respect the duty cycle, and this little unit will perform beatifully! Thank you Ankul! Norm

Great compressor
Use for airsoft - using 48CL tanks, takes approximately 20 minutes to fill each tank to 3000 PSI. I was tempted to go for the CS2, but glad I went for the CS3 as it has the auto-stop feature, which has been very useful, and also like that there's no need for buckets of water and oil to cool it down. We'll see how long it lasts, but the build quality seems to be solid, and I've used it 15 times so far with no issues. I also bought a decent oil and water sperator which is definitely worth the investment, as I'm not convinced the built-in separator will be effective. I haven't used it with a car battery yet, but I can see how it will be useful on long skirmish weekends. This has been well worth the investment.
