Will this dry after I apply it? Or will my hair feel greasy?

Your hair wont feel greasy, but your hands will look greasy if yo touch it after applying the product. I feels like a gel.

Would this work for 2a wavy hair?

I have very fine 2a, 2b, and 3a curls, and this product gives me DREAM hair! I put it in my hair while my hair is still sopping wet in the shower, take a huge gob of it in my hands and make sure the gel penetrates each strand completely by taking a section of my hair and distributing using the praying hands method, squishing it through by cupping my hands from the bottom of my hair upwards towards the roots about 5 times per section, and then getting out of the shower to plop my hair in an old T-shirt for at least 20 minutes, but ideally a few hours. After my hair is almost completely air dried, I scrunch again from the bottom of my hair towards the top once or twice per section in order to break the "gel cast," and BAM! Perfect curls and waves that I can maintain for a week (just use a little water every morning to revive the gel).

How does this compare to Mop Top custard?

Have never used Mop Top but I do love this. Really holds the curls in all types of weather.
