works as advertised, however the flush kit i ordered with it is 3 weeks late.

This was the second flush kit (packaged unit) that we purchased. The first didn't last past one flush as the flush solvent corroded all kit components and when we tided to use it the second time. This kit has stand alone components and is much easier to maintain.The kit says to watch the water level in the bucket as it may run low. In my case the water level increased for some unexplained reason as there are no leaks in the system or the valves. So, keep an eye in increasing water levels.

Will be ordering again in 6 months

The media could not be loaded.  Worked well. Using 1gallon of DISTILLED water with 32 oz of Ecotemp flush. Letting it run for one hour. Will purchase again in 12 months to repeat at that time

I recently moved to an old bungalow which previous owners installed a Rinnai tankless heater some years ago. Assuming they never did any descaling (most tankless owners don't even know about the need for regular maintenance) I started looking for a descaler. All the products I could find at local plumbing supplier were too expensive. Decided to try eccotemp and I was satisfied after the application. I used it with my 1/4 HP submersible pump and ran it about 1 hour for the descaling process. The bottom of the bucket was full of dirt after. When it's time again to de-scale my tankless in about 12 months, I'll buy another.

I started to descale my tankless water heater and decided to chat with Eccotemp CSR. He said stop using it and request a refund. I rinsed out my heater and used vinegar to re-descale my heater. I hope my heater is not damaged.

Well priced and worked well with my on demand hot water, should have descaling instructions on the bottle.

Worked very well. Odor wasn't strong but different
