Snugtop Pop Out Lock 713125, Key Lock, Silver, Black

I replaced the rear T lock on my camper shell and it was very easy to install, The replacement part was half the price of OEM Snug Top Lock and the fit and finish are excellent. The installation took 30 minutes with basic tools. The keys.provided in the package worked and the replacement fit as it should. Be sure to keep the fasteners from the old T Lock because they were not provided. I reused the old screws to secure the housing. I also added some lubricant to the metal shaft and it snaps in and pops out precisely. I would buy this product again.The keys work well and I store tools and other gear and know the hatch is locked. The metal, handle and parts are all first rate, this appears to be equal to the durability of the OEM part. This lock is solid value for the price, fit and finish.

Expensive but was perfect replacement for the old worn out lock.

When my Snugtop lock quit engaging properly I tried disassembling, cleaning, lubricating--to no avail. I was dubious that a replacement would work as well as the original had (until it broke), but this one does. Took less than 10 minutes to replace, requiring only a Phillips screwdriver. Once installed, my Snugtop canopy now latches and locks securely like new! It's a bit expensive (as OEM parts tend to be) but so worth it for the perfect replacement.

Fitment would have been unworkable had I not kept the original spring and retainer clip from my 1996 model year Snugtop pop-out handle assembly. The new spring and retainer clip are both slightly larger gauge and not usable for me. I struggled and sweated before trying the old spring and clip which solved the fitment problems. Also noticed the new lock cylinder may be lower quality. Otherwise it works well and matches the original look and operation.

Pricey but it works perfectly on my '01 Snugtop Expo. I sheared off the original handle when exiting my garage way back and began using a screw driver to move the window rods to the closed position. After the window shattered due to one of the hinges letting go, I made a new window out of a piece of tinted polycarbonate. Since that materail is not rigid, the screw driver method of securing the window rods closed no longer worked as the two side rods would work loose. With this, it now locks securely and the rods can no longer work loose.

My original lock broke and I had to drill out the cylinder to open my SnugFit canopy. Had a hell of a time finding a replacement. This is perfect. Don’t know if it’s OEM but it fits like one. Replacing the old one took about 10 minutes. Only 2 screws and a clip. I couldn’t be more satisfied with this pop out lock assembly. I’m thinking about buying another as a backup.

Bought a topper with no keys! Easy to install and replaces the old one with no key and didn't work to good!
