Superb
Looks amazing and works perfectly. (Bought for my G/F) Cannot see any downside to the watch/Fitness tracker. It was a gift and is absolutely loved by my g/f. Looks classy and way better than the apple. Fits a very small wrist also and is very light, have been told she hardly notices it, so another plus. Tracking seems pretty spot on, including things like heart beat and stress levels is cool, can see texts from the phone also.. would recommend.

Poor Sleep data recording
Difficult to view watch dial especially in the sun.Activity tracking not that great, but worse thing for me is the sleep data capture. It’s really poor. Also battery life is poor even when you turn off the alerts and notification's.I tried to work with the support team to resolve issues, even returning the original watch for a new one. But I have to reach the conclusion that it’s just not going to provide me with the data I expected. Problem is by choosing to try and resolve its now too late to get refund. The Withings scanwatch2 preforms similar in terms of sleep and activity tracking, but is a better looking watch, much better to view time daytime and night. And the battery life is fantastic. I wish I had stuck with that.

Swing and miss from Garmin
I dearly wanted to live this watch - it looks fantastic, but:- The display is so dim that even on overcast days I found it impossible to read the screen outside, even turning the brightness full up.- It wouldn't connect to my phone's GPS even after a great deal of effort changing settings, reinstalling etc.- The screen controls are a bit haphazard, as is the unlocking double tap.Otherwise I really liked it and the Garmin Connect app is great. In the process of returning after one day due to the above issues.

Form way over function
First the good, the watch looks great. It's exactly what I wanted. I've had a Fitbit charge 2 for the past 4 years and wanted to to back to wearing a more traditional looking watch. I cycle a lot and have a Garmin GPS for the bike so was well used to the Garmin ecosystem.I recently got my son a Garmin vivofit Jr which he loves, and he wants to challenge me to see who has more steps and active minutes, we're quite an active family. I decided the Garmin Vivomove Style ticked all the boxes. This is where the bad starts. First of all the touch screen is very hit and miss. Often it will not react at all, to either touch or movement, and it has be left for 10-15 minutes before it'll come back to life. The next problem is the heart monitor, it's way off. I compared it to the Fitbit and my Garmin heart strap, both were consistently very close when cycling or brisk walking. The Vivomove Style rarely got above 65 bpm while both the heart strap and Charge 2 showed 120+. I tried varying levels of strap fittings, the only way I could get it into the 90's (still 30 below what is was) was to wear it so tight it hurt after an hour. Since it wouldn't record my heart rate any where near accurately, my active minutes for yesterday were zero, despite 2 hours of brisk walking. So all in all a great looking watch, but it's not much else. It's certainly not an activity tracker, it can't track my activities and more often than not I can't check what it's doing as the screen it unresponsive.

Difficult to read the display in daylight
I had to return this because it is virtually impossible to read the display in daylight. This is due to the lack of contrast between the silver face and the display. I now have the black version, which is far better.

Not much use as a watch
I found the watch very difficult to read. The contrast between the arms and the face is very poor. There are longer indicators at 3, 6, 9 and 12. It's a bit more difficult to determine where 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 12 are.You cannot select which applications on your phone will pass notifications to the watch. If a notification comes in on the phone it is automatically passed to the watch. I have silent notifications for most applications and only want to be dustubed for a few.If you look at the watch when there is a notification, the hands go to 9:15 and you can't tell the time. You can switch off wake on wrist raise. In this case you need to double tap a part of the screen to use the smart features. I found myself tapping away several times before I got a response.I sent it back as it didn't fulfill the main purpose of a watch; telling time.

Wouldn’t buy again.
Was very excited when I received this watch, it seemed exactly what I was looking for, an attractive watch that I could wear as a piece of jewellery but chock full of technology too…win win! Unfortunately, although the watch looks smart, the technology is where it falls short!YOU CAN NOT USE THIS WATCH IN THE SUN, THE SCREEN IS IMPOSSIBLE TO VIEW!!!Totally useless outdoors for the most part as the screen is impossible to view. Have had a Fitbit Versa now for 3 years and should have stuck with it as it’s so much better than this Garmin.
