I would recommend to choose lower size.

Had to return and order lower size.According to oficial site size chart I was told that XL will fit well.But when I've madethe most tight waist with the help of adjustable belt with velcro theshorts was somewhat large(I wear 36-38 jeans).However nice quality and impressive look.Seems darker, than on photo (smth. like "light gray").Fabric would be "noisy" during walking.I would recommend to choose lower size.

Best Sailing Waterproof Shorts

These shorts are totally waterproof with stronger seat for kayaking, motor boating and sailing, wear and tear. This is the second pair of Helly Hansen shorts I needed to but in the last 5 years. Durable and reliable. Shorts arrived on time, in good condition. Good service.
