I have waited for a wee while since purchase before leaving a review. I had been looking for a very firm mattress for a while and I am delighted with this one. I used a memory foam topper for the first few weeks but have removed that a fortnight ago and have found the mattress more comfortable without it. There is a good weight to the mattress and it is deep, I use 32cm deep fitted sheets. I am hoping there will be double bed sized mattresses available as I will definitely buy a couple for the double beds in our household.I had a memory foam mattress for about 2 years before this purchase and I struggled to get a decent sleep, very restless and hot and began getting pressure points in my joints and was constantly achy and tired, since buying this mattress my sleep has improved significantly and I am so comfortable I don't want to get out of bed in the morning. If you're looking for a very firm mattress then I would definitely recommend this one.

Others have written at length about this so I will keep things simple.It comes in a box and even the single (purchased for my lad) is heavy at something like 27kg so be aware.As with all of these, you unpack and let it regain its shape. It was good to go in about 4 hours.Comfort wise it is a massive hit with him. It is firm but also forgiving at the top so you sink in slightly.The result is a superb nights sleep according to him with no overheating that can happen with others.I laid on it for an hour or so watching some football with him the other evening and I was very impressed with the comfort level.We have a similar one from Emma that we have had for a few years, and cost considerably more.This is definitely better!In short, for the price, it is a no-brainer in my opinion.Finally.I, like many people, rely on the (genuine!) reviews when I make purchasesI am putting quite a bit of time into reviewing the things I buy on Amazon to assist people in making informed decisions.That "Helpful" button below this (and all) reviews.Could you please click it if this review has helped you?That way I know I am doing this right and the time is not wasted :).Thanks

I suffer from sciatica and I get very hot at night too. This mattress has provided me the best sleep I’ve had in YEARS! Doesn’t overheat and the air circulation is really good. Amazing replica of the Therapur ActiGel Plus Response 4800 although not as good but definitely worth it at 1/5 of the price! It’s not too hard that you need a mattress topper but not so soft that you’re completely sunken in and have no support; it’s just perfect! 👌🏼 it’s a heavy mattress (about 19kg) so changing the mattress cover every week can be strenuous so make sure you have lots of space to do it. It keeps you high up which I personally like. You will have to let it set for 48-72 hours depending on the airflow in the room (keep it next to a window with it open) and it doesn’t have that weird smell that almost all new mattresses come with. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase I don’t have anything bad to say about it.

It’s a very heavy mattress, and the instructions indicate it’s a two person job..They ain’t kidding. Though I like a firm mattress, this model needs a good foam topper; ITS HARD. I had aches and pains getting used to it, but after about three months I love it. My sore hip is cushioned and supported, and for the first time in ages, I wake in the same position I fell asleep in. Excellent value and well recommended.

Lovely mattress. Really thick and has a great support. Double is try to size. Love that you can unzip the cover of the mattress to pop in The washing machine.

I'm sleeping on this mattress for nearly a month now and am very happy with it. I'm 105kg so consider I'm a medium heavy masculine guy. A few facts:Very heavy, ~30kg of a doubleFirm as it's not bouncy at all (kids won't like it, not a trampoline)Soft at the upper few inches (~5 cm) of gel/memory foam so it takes the shape of your body but it doesn't give back pain or that fatigue like feeling when you turn.It reacts slowly to pressure unlike the mud like memory foams.Gives the same high-comfort sleeping on belly, back or side for me.It's about 26 cm high (so some fitted sheets may not fit perfectly)It expanded just a little bit above 190 cm (~192cm) that fits my frame perfectly.It doesn't overheat (I have a quilted soft cotton mattress topper ~2cm on it)I sleep very good on it.

I deliberated for weeks regarding a mattress for my toddler - looking at really expensive hybrid ones / simba and Emma memory foam ones.After reading the great reviews I gave this one a shot!Excellent product. Quite a firm mattress (what we we after) but very comfortable and once you’ve lay on it for a couple of minutes you do mold into it.There is some bounce to it (to the joy of my bed bouncer toddler) but very study. Reading some reviews I was adamant to go with a cheap mattress due to the edges losing their structure and feeling the springs - this mattress has non of that. Very highly recommended.

There are loads of excellent reviews on this mattress which is why I bought it. I especially wanted the cooling layer as I get too hot with memory foam. I really like a firm mattress, but this is super firm and has given me very uncomfortable nights since buying it. It's like sleeping on a board. I'm a slim frame, so unfortunately I don't sink into the mattress at all. It's not the fault of the mattress, I just don't think it's suited to very slim people. Really disappointed. I'm not sure if they do a similar mattress but not so hard?
