This is my second purchase of this particular frother. My first one after at least three years quit working or so I thought. The new batteries I was replacing were loose and what i discovered was the contacts were flattened and the batteries failed to work. I simply pulled the contacts out a bit to make a tighter fit and presto….it worked again. I use the frother almost daily and have replaced the batteries about once a year. i had already ordered this new one so now I have a back up when the time comes. i recently saw that it was a favorite pick on the PBS show America’s Test Kitchen.

I ordered this frother back in December and loved it. I feel like the battery life became less, but the unit began to act oddly. Even when pressing the 'on' button it would work sporadically at various speeds. After reaching out to Zulay recently, they were speedy in their response, very personable (real humans with happy a demeanor) and wanted to make the situation a good one. They were unable to replace with the same color, which was not a big deal, and they also sent me a tiny travel unit! The new full size frother works GREAT, and I don't think the old one ever worked that well to begin with. It is very powerful! I feel like the froth/foam quality is great, but I would not say I'm a connoisseur. I bought it to mix in my protein powder with my coffee and it does a great job so it's not globby. Yes, that's a word haha!

Worked good at first, then I had to change batteries every few weeks and today it has just stopped working even with new batteries. I did buy it July of 24 so it almost lasted a year . I dont know the life expectancy of it so that may be good or not but for the price I can't complain I guess, other than going through lots of batteries with it. I do use it once a day for my coffee so....

This is a great product!! I have had mine for 2 years and have used it daily. It has never given me any issues except to change the batteries. I'm so impressed with the durability of this product! I can't recommend it enough. The only thing that I came across was that the shaft is a little shorter than my cup. I have to froth half at a time. Other than that, I would buy this over and over again, except I don't need to!

I’ve been using this mixer daily for two months now. I use it to blend my greens powder in the morning. I paid $14 for this, including tax. The batteries have shown no sign of wearing down yet, and the mixer is pretty powerful. My only complaint is that, because of the grip and the position of the variable on/off button, it is a little awkward for me to manipulate. However, like I mentioned, it is a great value, and is highly recommended.

On a YouTube video, I saw a recommendation from a "Carnivore doctor" for egg-cappuccino. She frothed an egg with this little gadget, and made coffee in her expresso machine into the cup. The heat of the coffee near-cooks the egg, she said. I tried it. It didn't taste "eggy" at all. It's a cute tool, small, and tucks into the side of my coffee shelf. Inexpensive, and something I use daily.

It started to slow down even with new batteries and I reached out to them via Amazon and received a very prompt reply. The didn’t have them same color available as originally purchase, but that was no concern for me - just their friendly service making sure I would be happy.
