It really trained my puppy and in a humane way.
I was having trouble with my pup jumping up on people. I went to the brilliant local trainer at Pett Smart. He suggested this type of system. I checked out YouTube and saw there was the spray type and an electrical shock type. The shock type went from 1 to 100. The video I saw was a very large dog and the trainer set it to shock level 2. If 2 is all that was needed for a large dog, what was the 100 for? I wanted to stop her from jumping up on people, not have her spasming on the ground. It has two beeps, one soft, one a bit louder. These worked great for almost everything except the jumping up, such as when I asked her to come. Sometime she would sometimes she wouldn't. Pressing the soft beep it sort of reminded her I wanted her to come. The spray took care of the jumping up on people in short order. I don't have to use it anymore. The only criticism I have is the remote control. It works fine but it is easy to inadvertently press a button. If I put the remote in my coat pocket, put my hand in to take it out, I may beep or spray her. So I have to be careful positioning the remote. Outside of that, it works great!

Doesn’t stay in place and your dog will chew through it in seconds
Do not waste your money on this collar. I rarely write reviews, that’s how mad I am that I wasted my money on this product. It worked when it was on her and stayed in place. The problem, however, is threefold. 1. It doesn’t stay in place. I would put it on my dog and an hour later it would be hanging loosely around her neck or off completely - at which point it is completely ineffective. There were days I had to adjust it literally every 10 minutes. 2. The collar is made of the cheapest material that any dog can - and my dog did - chew through through in seconds (see pic). Because it’s so loose (see issue #1) this is an inevitability with any dog that doesn’t like the collar, which, of course, they don’t. 3. The Citronella needs to be filled daily. DAILY. People work. We have kids. And our dogs HATE these collars. So I have to refill it and then chase my dog around to put it back on her everyday to keep her barking under control? My dog HATED me for two weeks because she began to associate me completely with the collar. I was already unhappy because of #1 and #3, but they led to #2 and now I’m out a ridiculous amount of money for something that only worked for an hour or so a day of the two weeks I used it with her. Save your money and go with a company that uses a durable material for the collar itself that a dog can’t chew through.

Remote buttons
Works pretty well but I'm accidentally hitting the buttons on the remote way too often. I'm probably making my dog neurotic. I beeped it while lifting her into the car yesterday. A few weeks ago I was working under my car, rolling around, with the remote in my pocket. It's a great size. But when I came back in the house she was huddled in her kennel, looking pretty traumatized. Vanity won't let me wear a lanyard. Right now the remote's hanging from a belt loop on a carabiner. I don't always have belt loops on though. I don't think it's autocorrecting very well, or at all, when she's outside. When I correct with the citrus it always works but if it's not correcting by itself, I can't correct her consistently unless I stand by the front door every time she's outside. We have sidewalk in front of the house so she barks a lot. The citrus spray was new to me. It works better than any of the shock collars I've had. The remote is a nice size. It's easy to use. My main dislike was the remote because it's so easy to accidentally hit the buttons. If you don't know you've accidentally hit the Dog 2 button then you're not going to get any results with Dog 1, which is bad. You will likely have no idea what's happening to your dog if you happen to bump the other buttons. As a deterrent is great. It's nicely designed (aside from the remote issue). The remote and autocorrect are problems for me because of inconsistency in corrections. I lost a remote and bought another one, so it worked well enough to buy it again. It was the price, ease of use & all. Also not wanting to have to research anymore.

Definitely the most advanced training collar with an incredible price
I truly have fallen in love with this product. It’s not ultra intuitive so they have to definitely work a little bit on the instructions. But once you get all the basics, you will fall in love with it too. First off the citronella spray and the levels that you can do is great, especially the remote. Even better is the aspect of using it inside your home to stop your dog from barking. Sounds are also unique and they work. You don’t get vibration but honestly vibration doesn’t seem to work for a lot of dogs anyways. It’s way better than using electricity, of course. It’s pretty resilient and recharging. It is really simple and consistent. Though the charge may not last as long as some collars, You get the benefit of having a smaller product which is great especially when you have smaller dogs. I love the quality of the product and its resiliency. Overall, I would highly recommend this product and will definitely buy again in the future. I think it would be great if they could also add some capabilities for a mobile app module. Something that could attach directly to the strap and maybe connect via flat wire to allow for a longer battery and maybe control via mobile app. That way you still maintain the size. There are a lot of options but overall I really do like this product, and I have used dozens of other colors with both my dog and my current dog. honestly I wish I had found this product along time ago. It really has done a great job.

Decent, until not
Worked decently well for a little over a year. My main complaint was that the microphone wasn't as sensitive as needed (wouldn't always go off when barking). It would then also beep at inappropriate times -- like when my dog was dreaming and making soft yelps, rather than actually barking. All in all served as a decent deterrent. The collar has stopped spraying citronella (automatically & with the remote) despite being fully charged and full of citronella. I'm very disappointed that it stopped working shortly after 1 year, given the price. Tried to contact the Amazon seller and received an error message, despite providing the Amazon order number (We are sorry to let you know that your email to HORZING - Amazon Marketplace cannot be delivered because the order it is in regards to is either invalid or not between you and the recipient. Finally quieting a LOUD Schnauzer for a bit
UP DATE: This collar worked well, while it worked. After three months, it just stopped working. We went through all the trouble shooting ideas. I just ordered a more expensive collar. hopefully it will last longer. I did not buy this brand second time around. We had tried EVERYTHING (we thought) to stop the awful Barking of our Schnauzer. His bark is like fingernails scratching down a chalkboard. It would go on and on. We tried water in a spray bottle, shaking nuts in a metal can and even a shock collar. NOTHING worked until a dog trainer suggest a citronella collar. It has worked beautifully. One bark and he gets a warning. Second bark it sprays citronella in front of his nose and he shakes his head. Worked immediately. It's so nice NOT to have company back away from the front door. He will wear one EVERYDAY!

The best item for breaking bad habits!!!
While I would never use the remote controller as a trainer, this product is the best for breaking bad habits!!!!! While the directions say to use the beep sound buttons for “good job”, I use it as the warning so I don’t have to spray my dog as much. It works do well I lent it to our friends for their dog that they are having problems jumping up on people. Other habit I can think of that it helped us break or could potentially help break: Barking (obviously), jumping on furnature they are not supposed to, crossing invisible barriers you may have in your house that you don’t ever want you dog to go into, eating their own or other animal’s poop, digging holes in the grass or garden, grabbing toys/shoes/other stuff they chew on that they are not supposed to, nipping at people, pooping or peeing in the house.... etc. I found it really worked best if after I established a rule, I was able to use it when my dog could not see me or knew I was around and watching. This way, the dog thought the collar had a mind of its own and the rules did not only apply when I was around.

Working great so far
We have been using a citronella bark collar for our dog for awhile and it's worked great. It's curbed his unwanted barking almost completely where even if he's wearing it and it's not turned on, he'll refrain from barking. However, he's had some unwelcome behaviors and a neighbor turned us on to a remote training collar and we thought we'd give it a try. He's an older puppy and tends to get excited when the kids are playing and jumps up on them. Charged the collar, filled it with the citronella (already had some from other collar, this doesn't come with it) and put batteries in the remote. Worked great first try. It's nice to have the beep feature to give the "warning" prior to having to spray if the bad behavior continues. I don't keep the collar on him continuously but only when the kids are roughhousing. I haven't tried out the non-remote feature yet (auto bark) because even just wearing it, he refrains from barking. I'm very happy to have this product. I had ordered a different brand and it wouldn't even turn on after a full charge and I returned it.

My dog very quickly learned that if he turned his head sideways, he would not get sprayed
This product is fairly expensive. As far as I’m concerned and is not waterproof. Therefore, you have a very careful if you’re in and around water with your dog

Poor quality for price
It was great for a little bit, I prefered the pet safe one I had prior to this one. My collar stopped working after a couple months, the refill mechanism was hard to use due to the shape of the collar and the flaps. Overall I'd say for the price this collar wasn't worth it. It's very cheap looking/feeling. The strap is comes on is made of a weird material that losens constantly. I personally wouldn't buy this collar again. The quality was very mediocre.
