This is a great product to have on hand for soups, salads, chili, and casseroles. I only wish there was a diced option so I wouldn't have to touch it and getting everything stained. (Not pickled diced, of course. The pickling ruins soups and casseroles for me.)Great for making hamburger based soups and chili if you're sensitive to poultry and pork. Cooked with hamburger, beets are like having beef gravy if spiced like beef. The thick cut of the slices has to be dealt with.
