Easy to empty, no touch!
These are great. You don’t have to touch the dead mouse at all, very easy to empty. Relatively easy to set - you have to use a gentle touch because they are sensitive!

THIS PRODUCT WORKS! Highly Recommended!
THIS PRODUCT WORKS! We had our very first (and hopefully last) mice problem in our home. After conducting online research in how to effectively get rid of these nasty rodents without paying for an exterminator, we decided to purchase traps after baiting them with a non-toxic (to humans and pets) poison. There were so many options to choose from. After reading the reviews and comparing costs (this was lower), we decided to purchase this product AND IT WORKED! WE HAVE NO MORE MICE!Prior to setting the traps, we baited them with a 3-equal part mix of sugar, flour and baking soda (1 cup each, mixed well with gloves on) and added dog food pieces into the homemade poison. We set two small bowls (with 5 dog food pieces in each) in the high traffic areas where we saw visible openings in the floor/wall where they chewed through. Each night we saw the dog food pieces were gone. One week later, we set the traps near the open wall areas and where we've seen their droppings. One trap caught 6 mice within hours of each other. (It was evening, we were awake and caught them in action - kind of exciting to know it's working!)TIP: We did not add peanut butter to the cups in the trap, but instead put a tiny amount just above it to ensure it would go in deep to retrieve. We believe the homemade poison mix killed most of them and the traps killed the rest. We were rodent-free within the first 24 hours after setting the traps. We've covered the holes with stainless steel wool dish scrubs. We discovered one trap was defective (wouldn't reload), but a simple contact to the seller rectified the issue. They were very responsive and went above and beyond to make it right.WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. Not only was it easy to use, we never had to touch the mice. We used a small box and lined it with a plastic bag to drop/release dead mouse/tie up to seal/discard in trash. It was easy to clean and no finger injuries (we were very careful).P.S. We waited to post this review to ensure that we really are rodent-free. We have seen zero activity in the past few weeks. The mice stress is gone!

These are great, way better than similar
I live in a converted barn in the country. So, I have mouse issues. Didn't have issues this winter, turned out a few snakes had been living in my garage. 😭 I hate snakes more than mice so now the snakes went bye-bye. One of these traps that had been there, empty, all winter had a large mouse in it this morning, which hopefully means all the snakes are gone. The point is, these traps WORK. And given the low price and how gross it is to deal with dead mice, I just treat them as disposable. I wasted years with poison. The mice seemed to thrive on it. Wish I'd found these traps sooner. Don't be fooled by similar looking traps. These ones have a perfect mechanism. I am a very frugal person. These traps are worth their weight in gold.

THESE DON'T KILL THE MICE! They trap them causing them to suffer while they slowly die! =(
UPDATE: THESE TRAP DO NOT KILL THE MICE WHEN THE SNAP! I just had to put a mouse out if it's misery on my own because it's neck was stuck in the trap, but it was still alive, crying, and fighting for its life. For the love of whatever diety you prefer, DO NOT BUY THESE TRAPS! They are NOT instant kill traps and are only as effective at killing mice as glue boards. They will die the most agonizingly slow and painful death imaginable unless you manually finish the job yourself. ((Traumatized for life now, BTW))These traps are seriously the easiest traps to bait and set that I've ever used. The bait cup just twists on the bottom of the trap and slides out, making it super easy to fill (always use gloves to avoid getting your smell on the trap or the bait, it deters the mice) then you just slide it up through the bottom again and twist to lock it in place. Unlike the last snap traps I bought, these are thick, bulky, and solid plastic so they are much easier to hold securely, and to set without having to carefully pull a thin metal bar down, then make sure it hooks correctly on a movable piece of plastic that trips the trap mechanism. With these there's more surface are of the trap that comes in contact with your hand. You simply hold it, close your hand to and clamp the back half down, it automatically catches on the level that hold the the frin half open, then gently set the bait side in front up against a wall somewhere you see evidence of mice being present. (Somewhere dark and away from pets and/or children from having access to.) If you have a rodent problem and are afraid of setting other types of snap traps due to the risk of it accidently going off in your hand while you set it, these traps are virtually fool proof, and even if one happens to snap while your setting it, there a wide piece of thick plastic between you and the jaws that clamp down, so just keep your hand on the back half and you're good to go!

Convenient solution to mice problems.
Came as a box of 6 traps total. One of the traps came broken. When you squeeze the back end to "set" the trap it doesn't hold. It just stays shut. So its useless.I do appreciate how easy it is to set them. No worries about snapping a finger in the process. However, don't be careless once the trap is set because anything that touches the front of it is gonna get snapped. I almost learned that the hard way when my daughter sat one at the baseboard in the kitchen and my toes came too close for comfort. I moved it to another area pronto.Easy to load the bait. Alot easier to remove the dead mice than the older traditional traps. Simply squeeze the back end and the mouse falls out and the trap is ready to go again. I don't know how long they will last. Hopefully many years to come, but after receiving the broken trap I question the durabilty of the plastic parts that make the trap function.
