I read it for four hours straight when I should have been sleeping. I finally knew I had to stop. Terri Black stock is one of my favorites.

The characters were well developed. The story was strong in bringing out the difference in doing something for yourself or for God. Loved the faith woven in and the final outcome.

I purchased this book thinking it was by another author I like. I didn't really read the blurb. It definitely wasn't the suspense/thriller I was expecting. Instead, I found a sweet story. It was good and, for the most part, I enjoyed reading it. It is a Christian romance and TB wasn't shy about the Christian focus. I respect that. As the Bard said (or is given credit for), "What e're thou art, act well thy part."

“Just one more chapter,” I kept telling myself! Drawing out the tension but building hope for a happy ending with little clues all along the way, l really enjoyed this book. And the scene where Brooke is reading the Bible and getting so fed in her heart, I actually caught a whiff of fresh baked bread. Looking for more! ( I also thoroughly enjoyed Catching Christmas. Delightful! One of my favorite Christmas stories.) Thank you Terri!

Another great story by Terri Blackstock. I’ve read so many of her books and loved each one. This story encompassed so many things: persecution, anger, bitterness, heartache, forgiveness, love, and joy. As I finished it I couldn’t help but think of Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

It struck very close to situations our family is going through today. It was a beautiful reminder that God is our hope, our strength and ever present help in our trials.

I typically prefer mysteries. But, I have read and enjoyed a few different series by Terri Blackstock and thought I would try it. I am glad that I did. I had a hard time putting it down. One thing I notice in books like this, is the lack of communication between the characters. Things could have been resolved 7 years ago if they had been open and honest with their families at the time. It makes me think about how often little specks of sand grow into huge mountains when communication fails. I was a little disappointed at how quickly the book wrapped up toward the end. It left me wanting so much more. I enthusiastically recommend this captivating story.

This is one of the best novels I have read. It is inspiring and motivating. I couldn’t put it down.

Powerful story showing God at work in spite of much opposition and how the main characters triumphed as they received vindication

This book is a delightful story that reminded me of God's amazing grace and how even the evil intentions of people are no match for what God can and dies do for those who place their faith in Him.

This book was absolutely amazing!! It takes you on a journey of God’s love for each one of us. It lends us the need to accept salvation in the midst of the trials of life!! it was a great read‼️‼️
