Sarah is a 16-year-old girl who is abused, emotionally abandoned and written off as just another hopeless causality of this world. Her mother's boyfriend, Roger, secretly involves Sarah in a sex traffic ring, and her mother, Karen, unsure of what to do, is afraid to stand up for her. Sarah thinks she is beyond redemption and unworthy of love and is sent away from the house that defined her horrors to a place where she is not the only victim, or the only one fighting to get her life back, a ranch called Unbridled. At Unbridled, Sarah meets Dreamer, a horse who has also suffered abuse, a horse who no longer trusts humans... That is, until he meets his girl, Sarah. Together, Sarah and Dreamer walk a difficult road and learn that family doesn't just happen, it's made with hard work. They face many hardships and overcome terrifying obstacles, but in the end, Sarah experiences redemption and learns that love is the most powerful thing on Earth. Together, they all learn to live Unbridled.

I have a strong aversion to weak women, but I love horses.
I know I am very biased, but every time I read or watch about these women who will not protect their children, who are weak and sniveling, it grates upon me. Law enforcement officers are always portrayed as such bungling idiots, it's ridiculous. However, this was a fairly realistic film about the restorative powers of horses, the healing of fellowship and kindness, and hopefully, the redemption of Christ's love. Human trafficking is real; it is happening now; we need to stop turning a blind eye. Abuse is running rampant. We need to respond.

Horses and healing, yes
I love a good horse story, and this one wove together nicely how a day program and a very special horse benefited a survivor of human sexual trafficking. I've certainly underestimated Eric Roberts as an actor; he gave me shivers. The faith elements rang true to me. *Spoiler alert* My only quibble was that, as someone mentioned, I don't think the horse would have survived the impact of the van. His death would have been sacrificial, thus more meaningful. But hey, I was glad he lived.:)

beautiful horses
The horses was beautiful. I think the heart of the story is good, it shows things families truly go thru, the love of a dad to not give up on his daughter, a mom who did what she needed in the end for her a daughter, facilities that provide help for girls, and in the end a happy ending for all. The acting could have been better and some of it is unrealistic happenings but overall a nice movie.

Great Movie
I watched this the other day and it was sad but suspenseful at the end. Brought back good memories of riding horses on my Great Uncles farm.
