Delicious!
I loved these! I experimented with cooking them multiple ways, my favorite way was to soak them in warm water for a bit and then toast them in the toaster oven. I was worried when I first got them that they were too hard but after you cook them they develop the most wonderful mochi texture and crispy outside.

Perfect for many uses!
These are great! They are good quality and portioned well. Usually I don't like individually wrapped items because of all of the extra trash, but it's worth it with these. If I just want one I pop it in the toaster or drop it in my soup. If I'm feeding the family I bring out more. The rest of the servings are still nicely packaged and ready to be used.

Great mochi!
I grew up eating mochi as my grandmother was Japanese. It’s always been a treat since I could only find it as a particular asian market in my area that we weren’t able to get to very often. I was hesitant buying this one since I’ve never seen this brand but I was delightfully surprised at how good it was! I will continue purchasing so we always have some on hand since my kids love it too.

Lovely Quality Mochi
Takano Mochi is very nice quality! 20 individually wrapped mochi squares come in each 1kg bag. Refrigerate them after the outer bag is opened & they seem to stay good almost indefinitely. Great to keep on hand for a satisfying snack anytime! Easy-to-cook Mochi has a fabulous chewy texture & almost no taste of its own, so it pairs well with flavorful ingredients, creating either sweet or savory treats to enjoy in just minutes. Try researching online for new & easy recipe ideas! One caution: Be careful to eat with awareness & chew well before swallowing, as mochi can be a choking hazard if gobbled up too quickly!

Moisture in unopened packets
Arrived with moisture in each individual packet which makes me unsure of its shelf life. It’s not particularly warm here, but I’m afraid the product will degrade immediately due to the water droplets inside

Still in package.
Instructions are in Chinese. That’s ok if you are Asian but I think it’s better if there is an English translation included if it’s getting mailed to the US.

Saw theseOn TikTok, air fried them and topped them with soy sauce and ho eh, very yummy. The directions on package are in Chinese, and I could not read them, i don’t know if they expired, but it comes with a lot and I didn’t finish the package.
