11-041 Utility Replacement Blade, 3 Pack

First saw these paired with the excellent Stanley 10-049 knife on Paul Sellers' extraordinary YouTube channel on hand tool woodworking. Together they give a very precise mark that, with Sellers' knife wall technique,. will save a lot of re-fitting of parts. The blades are surgical sharpness and are easily re-sharpened as well, making them a very economical combination. I only gave a 4 star to longevity because nothing lasts forever.

This item is featured on David West YT videos for processing fire-starting materials, making hobo stoves, and other primitive skills that come in handy in survival situations. It fits the Stanley 10-049 pocket knife (shown in photo for reference, but not included with this item), and allows for quick blade change to instantly get a fresh and razor-sharp edge. I especially like that blades can easily be re-sharpened on a sharpening stone. It's amazingly robust for such a thin blade. Photo also shows U.S. Quarter Dollar for sizing comparison.

I have used these blades for many years. I used RS Services for electrical supplies as they have proved to be an excellent tool. 30 years of submarine build and maintenance RS have supplied me on many occasions. Value for money and a reliable Sharpe blade.

These blades are fairly expensive fir what they are. Almost $9 for a two inch blade. Get some. F I r replacing the original blade. Great cutlery steel. Perfect hardness to take and hold an edge. Yes, these can be resharpned
