Increasing focus
This handy tool, so easily to utilise in clinic and classroom, seems to aid many to stay focussed on tricky tasks. Some give it a good workout while others just tease it around. Rather than a distraction, for most it seems to allow the child to move without disrupting flow of thought or dysregulating. Trial it first before recommendation.

Worked for a bit.
This worked for a bit in my classroom and then it kept breaking. Ended up throwing it out because it wouldn't stay together.

Five Stars
Works well with my fidgety students. The tube attachment eventually broke but I hacked a replacement, lol.

does not hold up to students
The concept behind this modification is a great idea, however, the materials used are poor. I ordered several of these to use in my resource classroom, and they did not even last through the 1st month of school. The "bungee" cord that is used to attach the foam roller to the desks is just cheap rubber, and once it starts to stretch out, it does not recover. The 1st one broke on the 2nd day of school. It is now the end of the 4th week of school, and 5 of them have broken. My students are not being excessively rough with this product, they are simply using it the way it was intended. Definitely not worth $10 each!

Poor quality but a great idea!
I was so excited to try these in my resource room. My students loved them, especially my kindergarten students who are so wiggly. Unfortunately, they have only been attached to my chairs for three days and one is already broken. Even being used only intermittently, they have not held up well. The stretchy cord broke on one and the other is very stretched out. I don't expect it will last much longer. I think the idea is a great one and will look for replacements. Hopefully if I find any they will last longer than a few days.
