Source Naturals Reduced Glutathione Complex Orange Flavored - 50 mg -100 Lozenges

I can't really tell if the product is doing what it is supposed to since I just started taking it. I also take other supplements, but I read our natural Glutathione decreases with age and is important as an anti-oxidant. It also detoxifies harmful chemicals in the body, so that is why I bought it. It also has other beneficial effects (eg. anti-aging, reducing wrinkles) if taken in the proper dosage. I just saw the company makes it in 250 mg. form, which I wish I knew about before, since I would have preferred buying that dosage. The company should list the different dosages they offer on each site.

So, I heard about glutathione on a podcast featuring a world renowned endocrinologist. He suggested taking it sublingually as it gets almost completely destroyed by our stomach acid. This was the cheapest, most quantative amount of reduced glutathione I could find. It needs to be reduced for effectiveness. Anyways, the endocrinologist spoke of the positive effects glutathione supplements have when one drinks alcohol. You can research the science :) So, from that vantage point, I had a very easy way to gauge the effectiveness of this product. The results are astounding. Not only did I find myself intoxicated for a far shorter period of time, but I also found that I had a symptomless come down. Considering this is what they give to people, albeit IV, who overdose on Tylenol is reason enough to immediately view glutathione as legit. Now, my own testing of this product (for me) proves it to be fully effective. I have been taking 3 tablets a day. I have only been taking this for a week, so I am waiting to see if there are any further noticeable benefits from this product. So far, I can only imagine that what I have heard of this is legitimate, because I experienced solid results.

I'm not going to lie, the pill is bitter and smells like rotten eggs which is to be expected as Glutathione is a sulfur containing compound. The orange flavor helps somewhat but it seems to only coat the outside of the pill and it's gone after a few minutes. I mostly bought this supplement to help with body detox and liver support but one very pleasant side effects is that it has made my skin look amazingly clear and healthy. It is a strong product, with a strong taste but it seems to work.

I purchased this after researching it online, starting taking it and after i went through about a week or so of not feeling well (i believe due to detoxing effects). This stuff makes me feel amazing!! I have more energy, a good sense of 'well being', simply put i feel good! I was taking one everyday but i think it was too much cuz i would get an upset stomach and loose stool, so i take one pill every few days. My family has also noticed good effects from this product. Also i have noticed that when i work out hard, i should be sore the next day but not anymore. I was very amazed at that as well as i have more stamina and can work out really hard and longer without feeling aches and pains. I'm 44yr female, this stuff is awesome and a must have as we age. I have been taking this for over a month now and will absolutely continue to use this product for as long as i live. I do want to get the glutathione patches at some point. UPDATE: 5/9/2019 I have since settled on a better product made by Jarrow called Reduced Glutathione, which is better than this product for absorption. I wrote a review on that product as well. Best way to take is open cap and drop contents under the tongue and keep it there so it can absorb into you system. I no longer use this brand but this brand is a good company and have purchased other products from them. However because Glutathione is so hard to absorb in the form of 'by mouth', preferred method is IV or liposomal. I will always try something at least once, happy shopping!

For some reason I couldn't sleep last night, and this morning I took my first dose of glutathione. The taste was like a vague heinousness covered by a delightful orange flavor (I'm a sucker for orange creamsicle things), but I got through it. I took the max dose -- 3 capsules. I hadn't been able to fall asleep until 4am, and I woke at 8am to go to work. I should probably be hallucinating now from lack of sleep, and instead I feel awesome. My mood is sunny, energetic, and I feel like the world is a wonderful place to be! WILL BUY AGAIN!

Very bitter.

This has really helped me. I have chronic fatigue and have had all types of blood test to see why and the doctors couldn't fig out why a 28 year old woman felt like she was 88. Actually my Gynecologist recommend this to me and I was willing to do anything to feel somewhat normal. I just need one or sometimes 2 a day. The taste isn't bad just put it under my tongue and let it dissolve wile I drive to work or if I'm home I take it right after I drink my coffee. If I need an extra pick me up I take another one after lunch. I also just started taking bee pollen and hemp oil. Don't know if if it just this product or all 3 together but something is working wonders on me. I don't feel like superwoman but I do feel more alive.

I wasted my money since it doesn't dissolve, was barely halfway there after more than 35 minutes. I contacted the company and got no response. I'm low income and can't afford to get stuck with a product that misrepresents itself with no recourse. I did see another comment about it not dissolving in the stated 5 minutes but didn't know it'd just never dissolve.
