Good for CSP study guide
Reviewed this material for 2 weeks prior to taking my CSP Exam. Passed on the first try.

Comprehensive safety book
Bought this book for two reasons. First to study for the CSP and second to advance professional knowledge. Contains many more topics than expected.

Great info and perfect condition
Book arrived today and there was no quality issue with the actual book. No tearing or pages stuck together like some of the other reviews. The book has a lot of good info and I definitely recommend it to other safety professionals. However, I did end up finding out that one of the equations used for ventilation was algebraically incorrect. I'm not sure if there was a typo or if the equation is incorrect. Will definitely look into this and update.

Amazing resource !!
I’m studying for my CHST exam and this book is invaluable. Thank you so much for all of the equations and all of the study material. I failed the first time, but I’m going into the test much more confident now after using this book along with my other study materials.

Excellent but not perfect
An excellent reference—maybe the best for CSP exam prep—but this edition needed better editing. Missing examples and incorrect steps with conflicting constants. It’s not an inexpensive book, but I would buy it again, even with the mistakes. Just read it carefully when taking a deep dive.

Great but not without flaws
Conflicted on the rating for this book. It’s an overall great resource but it needs a deep proofread. I can’t understate how helpful this book is but you have to be careful when reading it, the math examples in particular are frustrating. For example, I’m currently looking at pg. 425 and it has pi equaling 31.4 in an example problem.A couple pages earlier on 417 and 418 the velocity math example is VERY difficult to follow. We go from talking about a locomotive then a dragster in the same example. The numbers are all off. Thankfully, I took physics and don’t need that much explanation of what’s going on.These are just the most recent typos I’ve found and the ones that broke me down to write this review. Ive read every single page up to this point and I bet I’ve found at least one typo or area where an edit is needed in every chapter. In previous chapters, some of the paragraphs seem to jump around or ahead and miss key information to make the section flow and make sense. If you are studying for the ASP or CSP, this is still one of the best resources out there but be mindful when reading.CRC Press and W. David Yates, I urge you to correct this for any future additions - or for this addition.
