Show and Tell: Representing and Communicating Mathematical Ideas in K-2 Classrooms

This book was like a breath of fresh air because it was simply written and entertaining. One of the only college books that was "fun" to read and study the illustrative examples.

For a couple of workshops what we do with teachers, this book is fabulous! The teachers love the examples of students' work. It covers more than one grade level. It's totally appropriate for teachers of primary who are struggling with teaching math concepts.

It is a collegiate level textbook for learning to teach math effectively. The figure box examples help a lot and it was easy to understand. It is what it is, a college textbook.

This is an easy to use practical reference book for elementary teachers. I share this with teachers who attend my seminars!
