That means it's accurate enough for what I do with it. For a basic home shop tilt table, it's ok and the price is right. The Ungood: The castings are nasty. Be careful on the bottom. It's a ground surface, and the edges are sharp enough to cut you. I had to take some time and break them over with a file. They're sharp right out of the box. The tilt mechanism is rough and the adjustment is very coarse. If you think you're just going to dial the angle right in, forget it. Use some other measurement method. Once you get it, tightening the lock screws will hold it. There's an angle scale on the side, and a barely legible witness mark, and I would take that with a grain of salt. The tee slots will accept a 3/8" screw, but not the tee nut that typically accompanies a set of hold down clamps of that size. I used a 3/8" hex nut, and it worked fine for what I was doing. Review: Solid, still working out work arounds - Crank hard to turn as others have mentioned. I took it apart, scraped the paint off the base where the crankshaft pillow blocks are mounted. Also sanded the bottom of the pillow blocks with the crankshaft inserted. Had multiple facets on bottom of one of the pillow blocks. Found that if you rotate the crankshaft one of the pillow blocks wobbled. Working better but you can feel resistance in the bearing with everything bolted down. Top of table lays flat, the base is not flat. The base has a diagonal wobble of 0.018 inches. The zero angle mark on the base is offset, and the angle scale doesn’t match the radius of the cradle. The scale has more error the further the table is tilted from level. The one I received was not designed properly and with no deburring or fine grinding of the ways, etc. it wouldn't even do 40 on each side. Part of the issue is the tightening bolts and slide are not made to allow the table to go that far and end up making contact with the slot end prior to reaching the 45. I ended up tearing it apart, honing down the contact areas and milling the slide pieces to allow it to make it to 45. It actually goes to 46 now. Long answer for your question.
