0.4%-4% Fertilizer Injector for Drip Irrigation Adjustable Water Powered Dosing Pump 3/4" NPT

Very good price and quality seems good for pricepoint. Has been installed and running fine for a few weeks now. No leaks and no issues thus far. Adjustments allow precise control for dosing, so I can set it at 250ppm and it seems to dose consistently. The added bits for connectivity seem to not be needed for anything, but do appreciate the fact they sent along a repair kit for any probable or eventual failures that may be common for this type fertigation option.

I have used Dosatron systems in my greenhouse for years. I needed to order some parts, so I grabbed this injector as a full in until my parts arrived. It came and set up was easy, came with a rebuild kit and extra parts, all things I would have to buy separately from dosatron. It has been up and running smoothly for a week. It works so well I will leave in use unless something stops working. I will update review if that’s the case. Also seems to leak less than the dosatron, I believe this is because they include a wrench for the top.

I really love this fertilizer injector. Was really easy to set up and works great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the clicking noise when it's working is a bit louder than I expected. I live in an urban area, so I'm a little concerned it may annoy my neighbors. Other than that, it's awesome.

this is the second one I have needed in 12 years. not a bad length of time for it to work

This is my second one of these. I grow expensive and rare orchids in a grow tent. The first one I purchased after six months would not hold the proper fertilizer ratio. After nine months, even though I did all the appropriate maintenance, it started leaking and failing to inject fertilizer. I did all the necessary repairs, but it still did not work. So, I purchased a second one to hold me over until I could save enough for a MixRite. When I opened it, the caps over the threads were loose, and there wasn't any water inside. I didn't think anything of it, surmising they came loose during shipping. It made a horrible squeaking noise. I used the recommended vegetable, and the squeak went away. Two weeks later, it also stopped injecting and leaking. As I adjusted the ratio, the whole bottom stem part popped off and sprayed water/fertilizer into my mouth, eyes, and basement floor!! I disassembled the entire unit only to find that one of the O-rings had been replaced with an O-ring that did not fit, making it impossible for the piston to move smoothly within the shaft!! This was a used unit that someone had tried to repair using their own O-ring. They then returned it, and Amazon then passed it on to me!! I am so furious about this about this. I will not be buying another one, and I recommend you don't either

I purchase the Newtry fertilizer injection system to feed the flower garden growing around our household. It works as reliably as my neighbors $500 injection system in his commercial greenhouse! To winterize the system, I simply removed it from it's mounting bracket and brought it indoors. Next spring, I will change the plumbing to create a bypass line around the injection pump. It would be nice to have an internal bypass valve for those times when you want to wash a vehicle.

mine worked great, until they didn't. I purchased one about 4 years ago and it worked well until it stopped. I tried repairs, greasing and other things that were suggested and it continued to function but it stopped working during the second year of use. It didn't get a lot of use, I only have a small garden. I had my system designed it use this unit and it did work ok while it did. In any case, I purchased another one (newer green model). This again worked well for a while then stopped pumping. I'll be looking for something else as a replacement.

Works great for low-flow drip applications where cheap venturis don’t work.

Funziona bene e permette di nutrire le piante con concime liquido direttamente durante l'irrigazione. Per me che uso compost liquido concentrato è comodissimo.

Funciona perfectamente, mucho mejor que un venturi y sin problemas de presión o de caudal. Un poco caro y bastante ruidoso, pero el jardín lo nota y está espectacular.

I was originally put off buying this item because of the negative reviews, but after trying alternative ideas (such an a venturi syphon, which was utterly useless) I realised that my choice was to either pay an absolute fortune for the utter ripoff leading brand one or give this one a try. Considering that here in the UK we can return any defective item within a year if it breaks I didn't really understand what some of the other negative reviewers were complaining about since they could just return it for a full refund, so I figured I had nothing to lose by trying so I bought one and I also paid a little extra for the 2 years insurance that was offered to me by Amazon at checkout so if anything does go wrong I am covered. Well, I was extremely happy with my decision because it has worked brilliantly! I needed a system to water all my hanging baskets because it was taking ages to do them manually each day, but it also needed to add fertiliser because otherwise I would have to mix it and water them manually which would defeat the point. So plumbed in the fertiliser injector and I made sure that the input pressure was regulated down to the required amount (I have mine regulated to 1 bar, and I strongly suspect that the reason for people reporting broken seals is because they didn't bother to regulate the pressure and subjected it to the full force of the mains water, but its just a hunch). On the subject of broken seals though the box actually came with a bunch or replacement parts including seals inside it so it seems like the manufacturer has listened to the reviews and added some in each box. The unit itself seems very sturdy and as I say it has worked brilliantly and saved me a great deal of time. A well deserved 5 stars!
