The case was exactly like the 30 year old box. I simply replaced the workings. It was simple to to install and the on - off mechanism was the same as the previous timer. High quality and same controls.

My original one was made in USA and that lasted for nearly 20 years. Then I bought a new one (made in Mexico) that worked for 18 months - timer was not going to trip the light on. Then I bought another replacement (made in Mexico) that worked for 10 months. I bought it about 13 months ago but I didn’t install right away. It only ran for 10 months. The same problem as the last one - the trigger did not turn in the light. The mechanical switch still works but I have to manually turn on the switch. It is installed indoor to control the outdoor light. It is not the same quality as decades ago. I saw other consumers complain the same issue - the timer dial stopped turning after just over a year, perfectly disqualified for their one year warranty.

Commercial timer, easy to install, silent working great so far, very affordable price for the quality, perfectly fit on old timer box without new holes

Industry standard, rugged and easy to install.

Works but design is noisy as the original ( non-functioning) one it replaced. Doesn't matter in my case since it's inbehind a door.

Very good switch. Replacing a Tork switch that was in use for over twenty years. It is exactly the proper size that I need for outside lights and a receptacle for Christmas lights.
