Pretty cool little gadget to add to the venture camera really recommended is very sturdy and hold strong. Also the features on them is amazing.

This is the most essential item to add GPS in order to track driving miles per hour (MPH) for the rideshare and delivery driver, as added protection in case of dispute whose fault (me or the other driver) at the site of accident or illegal attack (road rage).However, I deducted one star because of suction issue that is sometimes unstable by falling off that frustrate me while driving. During wintertime, suction might not stick and it takes effort to clean the suction by wiping suction clean then use your mouth breath to warm suction then wipe windshield spot and place it after a few seconds. Extremely cold windshield is ill-fitting for suction, in extreme case it may have to be duct taped to hold stable.

I’ve been using the N4 dashcam with the GPS mount for just shy of 2 years. Living in Florida with a very hot climate, the suction cup will occasionally fall off of my windshield but can easily be placed back on. Recently the suction cup stopped adhering to the window altogether. Vantrue support was quick to respond to my email for assistance and offered to send me a replacement unit, no questions asked. They even offered to send a mount with adhesive backing which was their recommendation for a hotter climate. I’m not only rating the product as 5/5, but the company and support team as well. Vantrue will continue to be my choice of dashcam for the foreseeable future and they’ve earned my continued business.

Simple replacement for the mounting bracket, this one includes a GPS that allows you to 1) show the coordinates and your speed on the video 2) integrate with the map using Vantrue's viewing software and 3) keeps the time accurate. I especially like the accurate clock - on my previous dashcam, the GPS module wasn't used to set the clock, and the time drifted off so far that what the camera thought were old files were not being saved before newer files existed. This fixes that and keeps the clock accurate as soon as you get a GPS fix.

I have the older V2 dash cam.Once again, the GPS suction mount went bad and they don’t seem to make the original one anymore so I ordered this oneI knew they had switched to USB-C so I also ordered an adapter cable.The melting foot is just a tiny bit thicker than the old one. Rather than return it, I got out my Dremel and did some Dremmeling.I got it to work, but why did they go and change the design of the melting foot ever so slightly?.I guess when this suction cup goes bad I’m just gonna have to replace the entire dash cam as I’m not about to Dremel another one.
