Wow. These shelves beat my expectations by a mile. They are totally intuitive to assemble - I put them together in minutes as I pulled each part out of the well packaged box. I have to say it was a fun experience putting them together. I now own three shelves of this type and believe comparatively, they are an excellent value. They don't go with every interior scheme, but if it is at all eclectic, they will match - especially if you like the "industrial" look. They are very unique and eye-catching. The "pipes" that are used are copied after industrial pipes and fiittings, but the solid ruggedness remains. The shelves are not veneer but solid planks with one side stained. They are extremely sturdy and once tightened up, will stay that way. Only three observations: 1.) When twisting the pipe threads into the coupling, they tend to "squeal" a bit. A drop of oil on the threads before assembly solves that problem, and helps protect the steel threads. 2.) It's very important to use the adjustable feet to level the shelves for security once in place. 3.) If you have wood floors, you will want to pad the bottom of the feet. They are raw and may scratch a wood floor surface. Dragging the shelves can be a problem also, as they should be lifted and carried - not dragged. I could not be more pleased with my 3 purchases and am a very happy customer.

Easy to put together & I love the industrial look. My only complaint is that only the top & sides are stained. You can see the bottom of the top shelf after assembly, showing the non stained bottom.

Bookcase assembles with no tools required in less than 15 minutes. It's of quality workmanship and materials, and looks great. It was packed very well, with each piece protected in shipping. The four shelf piece would benefit by having more substantial feet, as the bookshelf seems easy to tip over and wobbles somewhat. While the feet are adjustable in terms of leveling, a wider foot base would help the tipping risk. Overall, this is a nice, sturdy, quality bookshelf and may surprisingly be one of the best purchases I've ever made of an online furniture item.

I purchased this for my craft room and love the rustic look. The shelving is strong, holds up to 88 lbs per shelf. Very simple to piece together, no tools required, just connect piping to shelving. The feet were easy to adjust once in place for sturdiness and stability. Great piece!

Goes together easily from the top down. Just make sure connections are tight. Very sturdy. Finish of pine shelves? wasn't bad and fairly uniform. It's not completely metal framing. The threaded connectors are plastic. It is made in China, but sold as "US Based", which is somewhat misleading.

This was so extremely easy to put together, and they’re really solid compared to other decorative shelving that we’ve seen. They’re sturdy and look really nice! We needed 6 of them, but only bought 3 to start out to see if we liked them. We loved them so much that we bought 3 more. They looked great! We have friends that have commented on them and asked where we bought them. I would really recommend these cool looking shelves.

Probably the highest quality thing I have bought off Amazon so far. The pipes screw together and are made of interchangeable sections. It has adjustments for level and the wood seems real. Everything was surprisingly heavy. There's probably more material in those pipes than my plumbing . Super easy to assemble no tools required and no tiny hardware to sort. Best thing is if you move it will breakdown just as easily.
