Best “true wireless” Cycling Computer for the Price. It’s Simple and Works
This computer does everything that I can ask for, while being completely wireless. It provides speed which is pretty accurate, I know because it was the same as one of those digital speed limit radars. Additionally, the app that is provided with the XOSS shows the route over a google map layer, has average speed, elevation gain and lots of other features. The only features I really need with a simple bike computer is speed, time and mileage which this has all of it. Additionally, it can mount onto Garmin bike mounts in which I use the stem front mount. I have even biked in the rain with it and it has held up. The only downside is that when you want to look at your activity log in the app, the computer needs to be on and connected in order to have U.S. metrics. If it’s off, it’ll only show in kilometers. Also, I have found that there is a bit of a lag if you are moving while starting the gps or when changing modes mid-ride. For example, going from the time/mile screen to gradient.

A good alternative to wired bike computer
I’ve long used wired, battery-operated bike computers and when the battery of the last one died, I decided to look at wireless options before replacing the battery. I wasn't looking for a GPS device, but I realized non-GPS devices often required two batteries and also had the issue of having to align the magnet and sensor on the wheel/frame. Then I came upon this device at a reasonable price. It seems very accurate and I liked That I didn't have to worry about sensors, tire sizes, etc. And never having used GPS before, I like how the app can map my ride, and provide details like elevation gain. I also like that it's rechargeable - no more batteries! But keep in mind: this is very basic. It's good for keeping track of speed, trip length, maximum speed, but lacks details I had in even cheap wired devices, such as cadence. Also, it doesn't include a real mount - basically relying on rubber bands to connect it to the handlebar. I bought a Garmin mount (there was a discount for buying both together) and have been happy with that. It makes it easier to put on/off for recharging.

Really worth the money.
While I am impressed with what this tiny little device can do, I wish it showed the current time. When it says time, it means elapsed time. IMO, it should show both, even if on different screen displays. I cannot tell how well it determines differentials in altitude, as my area is exceptionally flat. I can say that mine should be reading 3 to five feet above sea level, but it has always reported negative 65 feet (below sea level). There seems to be no programmable way to calibrate or adjust that incorrect reading. The nice thing is it is pretty simple to remember the secret codes for most functions with only using two buttons. I dislike having to memorize such pathways to menus and functions (because there are so many devices in common life today), but this one is not bad. And the buttons are pretty responsive as far as electronic switches go (the old mechanical switches are far more reliable and longer life, but every electronic device uses this type, which typically fail after 3 - 5 years - even if unused). This unit finds GPS satellites very quickly. I have not found a problem with cloudy days or roadways lined with dense mature tree cover. New, out-of-the-box, it meets intended purposes solidly. Seems like it will survive road vibrations and bumps, and is designed to do so. Of course, only time will tell (and I am not using it on trails or mountain bikes). I like its portability, but I expect the elastic bands for the mount will not age well with high ambient heat and sunny days. I wish it included two replacements. However, new they are very strong and the mount is secure when new. My e-bike frame is a larger dia tube than typical bikes and this still fits!!

Had it for a 1.5 years, it just works
The GPS on these units was lost at the beginning of Jan 2022. Download the Xoss app and update the firmware and restart your device. I never updated the firmware until I lost GPS connectivity. Set your time zone in the P2 menu. West coast PST -8, East Coast EST -5 on the time zone settings. I do not use the Xoss app. I just use it for speed and distance. It's very accurate. If you want advanced tracking, buy something that costs $200. This unit is backlit and automatically lights up at night. It's very basic, reliable and the charge does last at least 20 hours and recharges via USB. For it to work, set the correct time zone (one time setup), press the power button (on right) then press the button on the left after the unit is powered up and showing zeroes. Then press the left button and listen for the beep. Make sure you are outside in open air so the device can find the satellites. This does not work indoors and you cannot find GPS satellites indoors. It takes 20 seconds to around 1 minute for the GPS satellites to lock in to the device. Once the GPS is ready, it will beep once. This is a very basic GPS speed/distance traveled device.

Perfect size for bar stem and works very well. Battery life is surprisingly long. Have gone over 250km already and still in the first charge! The XOSS app is very good and provides all the information that I desire. No need or desire for me to push my data to Strava. Not interested in other peoples routes or comparing my performance to others. Definitely this device is priced right and does a solid job! Recommend to all riders that want a little more than an old school Speedo.

1. Packaging. The Xoss G which is as smaller than a credit card, came in a reusable plastic package, packed very well in a recyclable Amazon packaging. Lest amount of plastic waste! 2. Accessories. Apart from the Xoss G, the package contains two user manual booklets, charging cable, two rubber O rings and a female bracket with a rubber housing which can be fixed to your bike. 3. Setting Up. Charge the Xoss out of the box. Full charge takes about 60 mins. Once charged, switch it on, Download the Xoss app on your phone and sync the phone to your Xoss. Switch the Bluetooth on for this to succeed. The user manual explains this in a easy-to-understand manner with pictures also. It syncs to Strava and Training Peaks. 4. First Use. The GPS takes about a min or two to establish connection. The Xoss will connect to GPS only in the outdoors. Don't expect any GPS connectivity inside your home! Press the left record button and ride away. It's as easy as that. Once your ride is done, long press the left button to stop recording. Data is synced to Strava and your app automatically once it connects to your phone on Bluetooth. The best part is you don't have to carry your phone during your ride (except to listen to music). 5. Comes with a one yr warranty! It's waterproof, splash proof etc. Overall, a superb VFM bike computer at such a low price! Go for it!!

Works well and has just the right level of information that I need for my level of riding. It is easy and intuitive to use and syncs well with the iPhone. A great product and well priced for what it does.

Great value, has all the functions needed. Battery lasts about 10-12 hours. Easy to read, downloads all the data to phone after completing ride and turning off, then turning on again which turns on Bluetooth when connection to app. GPS position on app is very accurate and graphs for speed and altitude included. GPS connection takes a couple of minutes to establish. Time automatically pauses when ride is interrupted
