Next Level Racing Free Standing Keyboard and Mouse Tray (NLR-A012)

This seems to be made very well. It came with all the screws in their proper place (loosened). That made assembly very fast and easy. Only took a few minutes with out needing instructions.I've never recieved a item so well thought out to make assembly a breeze.It is very sturdy. I use it for sim racing rig and flight sim setup. The added pads for keyboard and mouse tray are fantastic.

Easy to assemble and solid support. I do wish the keyboard tray was about 4 inches wider, though. I use a Koolertron keypad in addition to a 10-keykess keyboard and I have to let the right end of the keyboard hang a couple of inches off the tray. The tray depth could be a little deeper too to accommodation using wrist supports better.That said, the tray can easily support a piece of plywood cut to the size I'd like to extend it to.The mouse tray is large enough to easily support a Kensington trackball and having it a little lower than the keyboard tray does make it more comfortable in use.I would be nice if the base included extra holes closer to the edges so the vertical post could be located closer to the right feet. I don't use this with a racing stand so it would get the vertical post away from my knee and even make it more stable once I add the extra tray length I want. Sure, I can (and will) drill the extra holes, but it would have indicated a better thought out and more flexible product to simply add the holes during manufacturing.The product is stable and the foot pads are adjustable if needed.Edit 3/21/2023:Today I relocated the vertical post to about an inch from one end of the base so that the post is outside of my right knee while sitting at my desk. While I was at it I cut 5-1/2 inches off the top of the outer vertical tube so I could lower the tray for better ergonomics sitting in my gaming chair. A 12x24 shelf took care of the horizontal real estate.The whole thing is more like an under-desk keyboard tray now, except a lot stronger and more stable.

So as it says, this is technically for a driving simulator set up. But let me tell you, if you want a way to sit in front of your monitor or TV and play PC games on your couch, this is a great option to consider

This comes not so well made as NLR's monitor stand (free stand elite one). Some plastic parts feel cheap, and its stand feet that shipped to me do not screw in equally for four, and the screw of one of them sliped from its bottom stand, means you can't screw it in by easily holding the stand. I'm scapticle if there's some quality control deviation there.

I’m convinced everything Next Level Racing makes is top notch. This keyboard & mouse stand is solid and well made, easy to put together and very convenient to have with a sim setup. I’m using it in conjunction with the WheelStand 2.0 so that I can use the keyboard easier in ATS but it’s also come in handy as a generic stand when I’m just using my HTPC from the couch and need a solid base for my keyboard and mouse.

The screw that tightens the swivel down to hold the keyboard/mouse in place was stripped on arrival. Very cheap quality with the plastic connectors. Also keyboard tray was scratched from manufacture

This stand/tray is an EXCELLENT value!It arrived when it was supposed to, and the boxing was WELL DONE!NO damage to any pieces or parts.It is well made- very good welds, and the paint looks GREAT!The included pads for the keyboard and mouse are HIGH QUALITY.I am very pleased with this purchase.
