Snickerdoodles - a classic, New England favorite - are sugar cookies topped with cinnamon sugar before baking. Our version gets its sweetness courtesy of fruit juice concentrate and brown cane sugar. This all-natural cookie is a great pick not necessarily because of what's in it, but rather what's not in it. Free of the 8 common allergens, this cookie has no gluten, wheat, milk, dairy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs or soy. That's a tough nut to crack in the world of cookies, and we think this cookie has great flavor and texture, to boot!

Best Gluten Free Cookies
Best Gluten Free cookies ever. My son says he hates Gluten Free food, but he loves these. We had to order more.

How could these cookies be called Snickerdoodles?
Very Disappointing. Nothing like snickerdoodles -

Disappointing but others make like...have seen many positive reviews elsewhere
Love snickerdoodles but not Trader Joe's version. They are not the traditional wheat flour cookies but use sorghum flour. Really taste more like a molasses cookie with cinnamon and sugar on top. I am certain that many will like, if not love these but I found them doughy more than chewy and oversweet. TJ's should be applauded for making cookies available to those with wheat, milk, peanut and gluten issues. While those ingredients are not used, these cookies do contain xanthum gum which has a caffeine like affect on some.

Although theses aren't EXACTLY like original snickerdoodles
Having many allergies it is very hard to find delicious, chewy cookies. Although theses aren't EXACTLY like original snickerdoodles, they are a scrumptious cookie that are a dream for those of us who can't have the original ones.
