where can you buy the replacement handles?

CS-H90AXA is the model of replacement handle. My buddy got 2 of them but not sure where he found them. Will update when I know more. Great axe though, freaking love it for throwing

I'm looking for a regulation throwing axe. Will this work

You will need to cut down the handle for both WATL and NATF. Most people cut it to 17" then trim down as needed to suit their throw. Personally I settled on cutting it at the top of the first chinese character. If you are a beginning thrower, I would not actually recommend this axe. The handles break easily if they constantly hit the target or floor. Find one that is more robust to hone your throw then move to this one when you stick 80% of the time. NATF has a maximum length of 17" WATL has a maximum length of 19"

Yeah, stick it in the wood and you won't break it ;). LOL sorry. I couldn't resist. I used a Truper 13" curved handle to replace the broken one I had. It took some custom fitting though because the eye of this axe is much smaller than most. Chances are, you'll have to do a lot of custom fitting anyways. If you want a straight handle, I think Stiletto makes a decent one. Just make sure it's hickory or ash.
