They are bright. The charger works well and it doesn't take a totally sunny day for them to stay lit through much of the evening. When new they would sometimes be lit in the morning during the summer when they had plenty of light. My first set lasted for about 10 months before they didn't charge and light well. I opened up the box to attempt to change the battery, but they way it is soldered in makes it more difficult than it is worth. If the price is right for you for about a year of service, go for them. I liked them enough that I have two new sets to replace the first and add one in another place. They just are not a long term solution at all.

Updated Review - Initially I was very frustrated because the set I received didn't work. They only stayed lit for an hour. Upon finding this out the seller reached out to me and promptly replaced them (2 day express shipping). I clearly received a dud the first time because the new set holds a charge and burns brightly for 10+ hours. My wife thinks they are beautiful and I am particularly pleased with the high level of customer service. It is nice to have a vendor stand behind their product and work so quickly to resolve issues I now feel completely comfortable recommending these lights.Old Review - I did not get these for a discounted price. I paid full price and got these for Christmas gift for my wife but they don't work. I live in sunny Florida and the panel easily gets 10 hours of direct sunlight and yet they can only manage to burn dimly for an hour before they fade to black within another half hour. I am returning them and will get my wife some that work properly.

Pro: The lights look very nice.Con: The description says that the string is 39.1 feet and the distance from the Solar panel to first led is 6.6ft. That should mean that there are 32.5 feet of lights. It's close, but no cigar (at least on mine). There were 28 feet of lights on mine. Ordinarily that would be no biggie to me, after all these are just string lights. In this particular case, I was redoing some branch lights where the lights had failed, and needed 31 feet to do it up completely. So, two branches didn't get lights. I'm still giving it 4 stars because the lights look good.

These are amazing. I got them for a party, and I didn't time it right, so they arrived two hours, just before dusk on a cloudy day. I still put out the solar panel (indoors but facing north) and they not only lit up when it got dark, they stayed lit the whole party! I was hoping to have these on during the day in a poorly-lit room, but they only go on when it's completely dark, unless you flip over the solar panel and "trick" it into turning on. Wonderful if you don't need versatile lights and/or want them on only when it's completely dark.

I strung the lights around a medium sized pine tree in my backyard and stretched the solar panel out to the light. I left out for 1 day on off then switched to on during the next afternoon when I noticed the lights came on even though it was a bright day. I tried the switch several times and still the lights remained on, they lasted for that evening and never came on again! It is not dark where the solar unit is placed and it faces south/southwest. I was surprised the solar unit had such a small surface. For 24.99 I think this was a very expensive one night display!UPDATE: after this review was published I was contacted by the seller and they sent me a new set of lights that have worked perfectly and are very pretty. Seller Dafna was very pleasant to deal with and very responsible re: product being sold.

These do not get as bright as I hoped, and they have a sorta purple hue to them. They light up every night though. I bought them with the intention of framing the edges of a trellis, and they just do not frame it well or light up very brightly. They would be better suited for putting in bushes or swagging them. Because of the flower shape they kind of point in all different directions. So, I do like them, just make sure you know what you want them for as I mentioned above they are specific to only certain uses in my opinion.

I bought 2 sets of these blue flower lights. They are great if they’re stationary. Make sure they are fully charged.I have have had over 50 string lights of all sorts of kinds. And these strands are pretty delicate. One of these light strands that I just bought has already been ruined on the first use. The strand separated ever so easily from one of the light sockets under very light stress. Instead of 30-40 feet, I only have maybe 10 feet of lights that work now. The price is great though!! Can’t beat it.

I ordered these lights in honor of my sister who love fairy gardens and lights. She died just 10-days after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer... I am totally impressed with these lights!!! The solar cell is a lot larger than expected (full 4x4") and the underside switch is very well insulated from weather in which you can set them to blink or steady on. the flowers are made of silicone, not cheap degradable plastic. The wiring also seems to be well weather resistant! I set them up around 11am and by dusk they lit the entire night long and have worked wonderfully for the next 2-days! I definitely recommend these lights!! And, I plan on ordering some more!
