BIG Improvement over the previous version
We have around 30 zones along the parkway for our HOA and they had the previous version that required programming from the unit with the little screen and buttons. Upgraded to these and makes programing much easier from an app on my phone over Bluetooth. Worth the price, they work great and easy to setup.

Quality product
While I did not install it yet, my friend is an irrigation expert and he said these were great. Bought a second one.

unit works perfectly, software needs quality control
This was my seventh and eight node bt. I have more than a year now since I upgraded from my first six standard nodes and have nothing but good things to say about the quality of the product. I deducted a star because the last update won't stop the notifications that I need to install the latest update--well after that update was installed. it's an annoyance when your have to tell it to skip that step with each controller. And yes, I have checked to ensure that the update number is installed. Hunter--please get this fixed) Everything else about the software is first class and all of the updates have included really well thought out improvements. A big one was the ability to set up programs in all of your controllers from the comfort of your home and simply walk in the vicinity of the controllers to quickly download the new programs. In most cases nearly everything that I thought needed to be improved was changed without the need to communicate with hunter. I'll never go back to underground / wired controllers.

Fountain autofill
I absolutely love this . The only problem is that it takes 2-3 times before the device connects with my phone/bluetooth. I use this as a auto fill for my fountain and it is perfect.
