My kids love watching the patterns!! They ask me to start it over and over!!

It's the functional thing. It's slightly unstable (Slightly), but it arrived in good quality, with all the cords (Plastic) proper length. The bearings themselves are a bit big, but its good. If you want one of these, this is a pretty good one to get.

It's very pretty,but my strings are messed up on the last ball,so it don't swing like it's supposed too.

One tangled mess due to PATHETIC packaging. Most reviews mention destroyed, had to try it. After several hours to untangle just two, I conceded to defeat like the US in Afghanistan. Have reordered one more time! Received replacement in great shape. Product performs well for the price!

I find it fascinating. Sir Isaac Newton's Pendulum Wave. How it simulates phases, beats, and frequencies. I did have to help expand the wooden openings on each end to properly fit the ball connection. Plus it helped it was packed tight enough. So the balls wouldn't escape and end up tangled. It did need extra careful packing bubble wrap.

The item is generally attractive and the description is correct, but considering that it's being sold for $50, the quality of the assembly is extremely poor. As shown in the description, the metal bar that supports the balls does not actually fit in the slots in the two supports. At best, you can sort of wedge it in there, but it does not go in all the way on either side. Meanwhile the four "feet" have the opposite problem and fit far too loosely into the two base pieces, meaning that the whole thing falls apart if you pick it up. While I personally found the packaging appropriate to prevent any tangles during shipping, I do agree with other reviewers that, if you allow it to get tangled after they're out, it's extremely tedious trying to see the fishline well enough to untangle it again.

Nice quality for the money, and fascinating to watch in motion. It's actually a bit larger than I was expecting. Wonderfully soothing to focus on for a while.
