Best value found & high quality, comfort & much easier to apply than other brands.
Overall: whilst i have explained some of the pros & cons of this item below, I want to state that this is still the best version of this style of sterile dressing I have tried (& Iโve tried many!!) and I would highly recommend Opsite products in general for their superior quality, effectiveness & comfort. Detailed reviewโฆ *Comfort & sensitivity*: I have previously used this brand & particular style of dressing & found them to be very good quality materials, much easier to apply & much more comfortable to wear than equivalent products of many other brands (including being easier to sort of โignoreโ if you dislike having something stuck to your skin for a period of time like me!!). Also I have very sensitive skin and personally this dressing is one of the only ones that doesnโt being to feel itchy after being applied & it also doesnโt leave a dressing-shaped rash after removing! Also not too difficult or uncomfortable to remove if done carefully (please do get advice from a qualified medical professional if you usually experience excessive pain/any skin damage when trying to remove dressings as there are various methods & medical adhesive removers that can help). Final โproโ here is that it feels โbreathableโ as product describes, which again helps with comfort & is also important for optimal wound healing. *Durability:* Whilst I would say these are still the most effective in terms of durability, adhesion & waterproofing compared to the numerous other leading brands I have tried, unfortunately for me they still arenโt really as durable as I would have hoped: For example: Usually despite properly cleaning & prepping the skin around the wound to ensure most effective adhesion, on average it still usually only stays fully stuck for maybe 1/2 a day max (N.B. I do realise that this may be due to the awkwardness of the area i am using it on & the amount of unavoidable movement that reduces the dressingโs durability as have used this dressing in past for different area which was less exposed to excessive movement & friction & it stayed put for 3 days perfectly!). Unfortunately it definitely doesnโt cope well if the area becomes hot & sweaty and starts sliding & coming loose much more quickly than previous stated. *Waterproofing:* Whilst I do think it is a very effective waterproof dressing, I wouldnโt recommend allowing it to become excessively saturated for very long, or very frequently; because from my experiences, it did loosen the adhesive & caused it to create little โgapsโ in the dressingโs seal after a longer showerโฆ Obviously it did do itโs job in keeping the actual wound protected & clean whilst showering, but it just meant that for me, It was safer to replace the dressing afterwards to avoid risking possible infection as the โsealโ had been compromised & could then let in bacteria etc. *Absorption*: Good adsorption and is specifically designed to not adhere to wound itself (so will not interrupt wound healing or damage when removed). N.B. As this specific product instruction should also state: itโs not really suitable for wounds that are uncontrollably or excessively bleeding or that are producing large volumes of exudate (the absorbant pad will just become fully saturated too quickly & actually end up causing moisture damage/degradation to skin surrounding wound too). *Price* When I purchased this box, it was significantly cheaper than purchasing from any local pharmacies and obviously much better value than buying online in smaller packs. Whilst slightly more expensive than other brandโs equivalent dressings, I have found it still saves me money as cheaper ones donโt last as long so end up using more! I Hope all this helps someone!

Not completely waterproof
I am type 2 diabetic and I purchased these so that I could put them on the front of my foot. I had a sore patch that was taking a long time to heal (this happens if your diabetic, takes longer for your skin to heal); I wanted the waterproof plaster to keep the water out when I was in the shower. Now I can't see as well as I used to, so couldn't actually see if there were any tiny holes (for air to get to the wound?); but when I was in the shower I didnt/couldn't see that the water was seeping into the lint side/underneath the plaster. I would use them, maybe for a quick rinse but definitely not on the front of your foot in the shower as I found them not to be completely waterproof!

Great!
You have to place it carefully and try not to let it overlap too much, otherwise it won't stick very well, but it's a great product! You must follow the 1,2 step! I wasn't paying attention when I first put one of these on and thought it was rubbish because it hars and wouldn't wrap around properly! ๐คฃ follow the steps! ๐คญ

Exactly as described
Opsite Post Op is a useful waterproof dressing for areas that need to be kept dry whilst still showering. Can be kept in place for up to 7 days so great protection. Good value for 25 pieces.
