Is this what the swimsuit models in California use?
My family used this and we were all clear of any burns after a couple hours in the sun. Another family that was with us wasn't as fortunate. They were wearing some other kind of sun screen. I especially love how it isn't oily, thick, or sticky, like other creams. It also has a very light pleasant smell, unlike other creams that give off a nauseatingly strong smell. You won't smell like that every generic sunscreen out there. Get this. Treat yourself. This is more expensive than the other creams, but it's better. The quality is better and it even looks fancier than those other cheap looking bottles. Look fancy and classy when you pull this bottle out to protect your skin and your family's. Smell fancy and classy when you put this on. My bias is obvious. I absolutely love this product. It looks great, but most importantly, it works wonderfully. Protect your skin, buy sun screen, even if it's not this one. Also, buy sun glasses with polarization and uv protection. Your eyes are just as important as your skin. Spending a couple hundred dollars on good glasses now when you're young will be worth the couple more years of clear vision it will mean when you're older. (Not the overpriced big brand names... Oakley, Ray Ban, etc, are just overpriced, but they do work too) My thoughts and criteria for products I review: (Amazon’s Rating Criteria in Parentheses) * 1 Star (I hate it!): Feel it's a waste of money. Will never use it again. Would never recommend. Not safe to use. Either throw away or return it. ** 2 Stars (I don’t like it): Don't like it and wouldn't use it again, but may still have at least 1 positive thing about it. *** 3 Stars (It’s ok): Product has both positives and negatives, and I may or may not continue using it. Someone else may like it more and is potentially still worth purchasing. **** 4 Stars (I like it): Item as described in functionality, purpose, and quality. May have 1 or 2 things I don't care for or would change, but not big issues. Would recommend if asked, but wouldn't say I love it. ***** 5 Stars (I love it!): Practically perfect. Nothing lacking in functionality or quality. Love it and would not only recommend, but would purchase for others and continue to purchase for myself.

GREAT!
This sunscreen is AMAZING! I've tried 2 Neutrogena sunscreens, CeraVe's sunscreen, and the generic Sun Boat and Walmart brand sunscreens. All those brands are super oily, burn my eyes/skin, make my skin feel gross and just aren't pleasant. The only downside is how small the bottles are. I got the biggest one and it will only last me maybe 3 months in the summer time, and its $20. I just started using SunBums and it's FANTASTIC! (And here's some reasons as to why) #1.) I have bangs, usually when I wear sunscreen my bangs get plastered to my forehead due to the oil-yness of the sunscreen, but SunBums sunscreen doesn't make my skin oily and my bangs are free moving and flowers! #2.) It's super easy to apply (like obviously cause it's sunscreen) but I mean in terms of it absorbing into your skin. Generally with other sunscreens I have to wipe some off of my face and rub it for like 20 seconds to get the white cast gone. But SunBum sunscreen just absorbs right into your skin and leaves no white cast! (I am a fair skinned ginger and it doesn't leave a white cast, I also have a darker skinned friend and it rubs right into his skin and doesn't leave a white cast either, not that he wears sunscreen, but I had him try it) #3.) It smells SO GOOD! It smells like Bananas, not like generic sunscreen, but just plain ol yummy Bananas! #4.) I have worn this all day and applied a couple times during the day, after wearing it for 2 days straight I have 0 acne from it! Usually after a day of wearing sunscreen I get like 4-12 pimples! #5.) It's super light on your face. Like i said before, it absorbs into your skin pretty quickly and it isn't too heavy. It's almost like a thicker CeraVe facial moisturizer feel & absorption wise. Some people have left a review saying that when their sunscreen came in it had a super close expiration date, my bottle had an expiration date set for October of 2024, I got it April of 2023. So that's plenty of time for me to get through this whole bottle, as I use sunscreen daily all throughout the year!

Sun Bum SPF 70 is fantastic!
Sun Bum SPF 70 is an absolute game-changer in sun protection, and I couldn't be happier with the results. As someone with fair skin that's prone to burning, this sunscreen has become my go-to for ultimate protection. The SPF 70 formulation provides a high level of defense against harmful UV rays, allowing me to confidently enjoy outdoor activities without the worry of sun damage. What sets Sun Bum apart is not only its exceptional sun protection but also its delightful scent and non-greasy feel. The tropical fragrance adds a touch of vacation vibes, making the application experience enjoyable. The lightweight and quick-absorbing formula mean I can apply it and go about my day without feeling sticky or weighed down. The water-resistant feature is a bonus, ensuring that I stay protected even during water activities. Sun Bum SPF 70 has become a trusted companion in my sun care routine, offering reliable protection with a touch of beachy bliss. If you're in search of a sunscreen that combines effectiveness, pleasant application, and a tropical aroma, Sun Bum SPF 70 is a five-star choice that I highly recommend.

Hands Down The Best Sunscreen I’ve Used
Sun Bum is hands down the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. It smells incredible, like a tropical vacation with that perfect coconut scent. It goes on smoothly, doesn’t leave you feeling sticky or greasy, and actually works! As long as I reapply every few hours, I don’t get burned, which is more than I can say for most other sunscreens I’ve tried. I keep my pantry stocked with it and have a bottle in the pool bag and the car. It’s a staple for our summer (and year-round) routine. Love it!

Reliable Protection with a Few Trade-offs
I've been using the Sun Bum Original SPF 50 Sunscreen for a while now, and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, it’s definitely a good sunscreen. It does its job well, offering solid protection against sunburn, and I haven't experienced any skin issues using it. The lotion is easy to apply, absorbs fairly quickly, and doesn’t leave a greasy residue, which is a big plus for me. However, there are a couple of downsides. First, the price. I find it a bit on the expensive side compared to other options available. There are many other sunscreens out there that offer more quantity for a lower price. Of course, there are also some that cost more than Sun Bum, but the price point is still a consideration for me. That said, it's worth noting that Sun Bum is vegan, gluten-free, and enriched with Vitamin E. For people who need a gluten-free or vegan sunscreen, or are looking for additional skin benefits from Vitamin E, this could justify the higher price. If you’re paying extra, you are getting these added benefits, which you might not get from cheaper alternatives. Even so, I believe the price is kinda okay, but it would be great if we could get a little more quantity. The second thing is the smell. This is where my feelings are really mixed. Sometimes I enjoy the scent – it has a unique, tropical aroma that's quite distinctive. Other times, I’m not as fond of it. I think this will really come down to personal preference; some people might love it, while others might find it a bit overwhelming. Overall, Sun Bum Original is a reliable sunscreen that does what it's supposed to do. If you're okay with the price and are curious about the scent, it’s worth giving it a try. Personally, I might explore some other options next time just to see if I can find something more cost-effective that I consistently enjoy.
