Will not fit Blitz cans
These seem like a good deal, but I can not judge durability at this point. Just got them. I will say they do not fit my Blitz cans. The neck is too short. However, They fit my Scepter and do not leak so far. Four to a pack with a good price. For storage and transport I'm sure they will be just fine. I also purchased the EZ-Pour brand and I like them better. They seem to be a better quality but they cost more and you only get Two to a pack. Tip: For all those who may have a little trouble using these and others, Try reverse screwing with a little downward pressure until you feel it catch, Then slowly screw the cap on making sure not to cross thread anything.

FINALLY A SOLUTION TO THE GAS CAN ISSUES...
Trying to dispense gasoline from a standard gas can is horrible. The spouts or funnels leak & take forever to empty the 5 gallon can. I tried many different funnels. No good. Now I use a large separate rubber funnel that goes directly into the gas tank opening. I pour the gas from the can into the large funnel opening without any other apparatus at all. Much easier, faster, etc. Must be careful not to pour too fast though. Those idiot donut caps that have holes in the middle to accomodate the funnel/spout are simply inefficient. Take more time to use and so easy to lose those little center caps covers. So the design of a standard gas can with a built in spout & donut hole cap is a failure in my book based on two years of experience and research. Today I replaced the donut caps with these and threw the former into the garbage. Good riddance.

Need to Install Them Correctly
As you all who own Midwest 5 gallon fuel containers have discovered, the ring that holds on the spout is poorly engineered, in that over time it can separate into 2 parts. For a while, one could buy replacement rings at a reasonable price, but this seems to no longer be the case. I think that these lids are a good solution. I install the spout only on the fuel container that I am actually using, and I use these lids for storage of full (and empty) containers ... so the spout assemblies last much longer. Some pointers as regards using them -- things I found helpful so that the lid does not leak! Sometimes when received the gasket is not seated in the lid, so check this and seat it by gently using e.g. a screwdriver or ??? to push the gasket into the very top of the inside of the lid. Secondly, the gasket forms a better seal if it has been moistened with some of the fuel ... so I put on the lid fairly tight, quickly tilt the container forward and back to moistened the gasket, then tightened the lid the rest of the way. And yes as one reviewer commented, they are hard to get tight enough to not allow any leaking ... but once the gasket is seated and moistened, sometimes backing the lid off a turn or so and then re-tightening it helps -- maybe the fuel helps lubricate the treads? Tilt container forward to check for leaks.

Leaky caps and incorrect rubber
Purchased these to replace caps on several plastic gas containers. These lids are too tall so even though they are tightened all the way, there's space between the lip of the gas container and the top of the lid so gasoline leaks if the container is tilted. Also, the rubber type gasket included at the top is the lid appears to be made out of a material not resistant to gasoline. The rubber type material became very sticky like it was being dissolved by the gasoline and also became swollen so it no longer fit flat inside the cap. I would not recommend this product.

Course Thread
Solidly made caps. These caps are for course treaded cans only. Make sure that your cans have a course thread and NOT a fine thread. They fit perfectly and have a quality rubber washer. They do NOT leak. After seeing some reviews, I only ordered one set to test. Just ordered another set after testing.

correct thread size but gasket needs to be twice as thick to make contact and seal.
I have a number of the newer style US gas cans that are impossible to unlock and pour. You know the ones they shoved down our throats and told us were better. but of course they leak when transporting them from the gas station. I purchased these caps to use when transporting the fuel in my trunk. I've found that the thread size is a match, however none of my cans screw on to the cap deep enough to make contact with the gasket in the back. They seem to be off by only a millimeter or two. Putting two of the gaskets in one cap completely solves this problem. This leaves me with only two usable caps out of this package, but I'm sure i can find gasket material somewhere. So my suggestion to the manufacturer is shorten the cap or get thicker gaskets, because this was technically a fail on five gas cans of all different types ages.
