I have purchased 3 of these over the course of several years. Worked perfectly in my APC backUPS. Make sure to help the environment by recycling your old battery through APC's recycling program. Batteries like these are damaging to the environment if they leak into soil or water and APC is being responsible here by offering this, whether by their own doing or being regulated into doing so. Make sure it is a genuine APC battery being recycled however. The longevity is great, I always replace every ~3-4 years regardless and have never had one fail me. They are consumables however, so don't expect to get ~5-10 years out of them if you expect them to work when needed. The replacement time is labeled for a reason.

No problems after install. Low battery warning noise is gone.

I purchased a apc nc-1080 in September 2016.the unit has worked flawlessly for nine years.I figured I would replace the battery so I wouldn’t have any problems with blackouts.the battery that I took out of the ups had a voltage reading of 21.2 volts,the replacement has a voltage reading of 26.7 volts.the label on the new battery says it was produced in march h of 2025.it has a full charge and fit as a oem one should..when you replace the battery make sure that you reset the ups by unplugging it removing the battery and holding the power button down for 5 seconds and your good to go.always replace ups batteries with factory oem ones and you will never have a problem.

Perfect Replacement Batter, easy to perform, and price was right!

The hardest part was making sure I had the right part number for the APC replacement battery. Here is the drill! Find the sticker with your model Number on the back or bottom of your UPS. Then go to the APC website [APC.COM] and get the recommended replacement battery part number for your UPS. [Don't be seduced by saving a few bucks with a cheaper replacement]. The APC battery [actually 2 batteries in my case] comes pre assembled and ready to install. Turn your UPS off, unplug it from the wall, lay your UPS on its side on a flat surface, slide off the battery compartment cover and remove the installed battery, install your replacement battery, reinstall the cover. turn your UPS upright and plug it in the wall, turn your UPS on and verify everything is working. It took more time to write this review than it did to swap the battery pack in my BX1300G APC UPS. Oh yes be sure and recycle your removed battery pack responsibly, don't put it in the trash. The recycling information took a bit of searching. "When you buy a new genuine APC RBC, you can recycle your old UPS battery via the "RBC Recycling Program" on the APC website. This program includes free return to a recycling center (use the packaging from your new battery to return the old)"

Easy battery replacement. But, for safety, first disconnect all cables.

This battery was for our UPS on our computer. The APC UPS backup’s battery was old and needed replacing. So simple to do. Open the battery door, take out the old battery, insert the new one just the same as the old one came out, shut the door and you’re off and running. I picked this one because it is the exact replacement for the old one - same model and style - even the labels are the same so there’s no confusion in replacing it. I was leary about the generic ones, so stuck with the brand name.
