Electric game caller
I have wanted one of these for years, but just never wanted to pay the high price. But I finally bit the bullet and bought this fox pro inferno. I was tired of using regular mouth calls, and feeling like I was the bait.It seems like it is very well-made with a heavy duty plastic. The remote controller seems very well-made. The different settings and modes take some time to get used to, but the instructions for how to set up all the settings are fairly easy to understand. I have not tried downloading any new calls to it yet, so I don’t know how easy that will be. Other than that it seems very well-made, Sounds great, and I can’t wait to try it out.

It works great out of the box (after installing batteries, of course).
The preprogrammed sounds (that come with it) seem to be right on. II have a very empathetic Golden Retriever who became very concerned with the Kitten cries, Canine pup, and rabbit distress call sounds and my cat ran to a safe hiding spot after hearing one the several Coyote howls. This sounds silly, I know, but this is not a "joke" review. This was the fastest way for me to get an initial feel for this product. What i have learned, so far, has pleased me. I live in an area where coyotes are a nuisance and plan to reduce the local "yote" population and I'm confident that this device will aid me in that.

Works well
The sound is clear and it is loud enough to work. Have called in raccoons with it, and one evening had a Barred Owl fly in and start Caterwauling to the sound of the caller. The quality seems fine. I have only used it a couple dozen times, so will have to see how it holds up. So far it had been fun to use and pleased with the purchase.

Annoying Sounds, But Son Loved It
I bought this for my son for Christmas, and we had to listen to a bunch of annoying animal sounds. However, my son loved it, and now we are thinking about setting it up in the yard to call up the mountain lion that has visited.

You can't go wrong with FoxPro!
I have used several electronic game calls and this one is no doubt the best caller under $200. You cannot beat the sound quality or build quality of a FoxPro caller, and even this lower level model delivers all the bells and whistles of their higher end callers. The only reason why I have deducted one star from this review is because of the speaker volume... while it is loud, it is sometimes not loud enough for my purposes (I hunt coyotes in the open desert where, most of the time, you need a lot of volume). Overall this is an outstanding product that has called many coyotes to my stands. One last thing- learn from the other people who bought their FoxPro from "unauthorized" retailers! Take the time to go to FoxPro's website and find who is authorized, and instead of adding directly to your cart in Amazon, go to the "other sellers" portion and choose from an authorized retailer. I purchased mine from the Amazon website, but sold by Sportsman's Outlet LLC which is (at the time of this review) an authorized retailer.

Great crow caller
Works wonders for crows, and the sound is excellent. Had to purchase an additional speaker to make it louder for flocks that were farther off. Very light weight and easy to travel with.

Not reliable
I'm not sure if mine is defective or if they all have the same problem. Sometimes when I press play, all I get is a beeping sound. Really frustrating when you spend and waste an entire stand having to mess around with your call to try and get it to work and then end up having to use a mouth call instead. I've tried everything I can think of to get it to work when it does that, and nothing works. It just starts working randomly. I don't trust it, so I ended up buying a different model. Good for Foxpro, but not good for me.

Does what it is supposed to do
I really like the sounds grouped in categories, it makes them easier to find. Also got some free sound downloads. Very easy to work with the sounds on the computer. Have had a Foxpro spitfire and the sound quality seems better and it is easier to work with.
