Bandai Hobby - Gundam 00 - Gundam Kyrios, Bandai Spirits MG 1/100 Model Kit

I'll start with my complaints. My box was warped and crunched a fair bit on one side. Given how well my shipping box was packaged though, it's clear this damage was either from during the import for resale or it was damaged in storage. This did lead to a few pieces snapping off the runner before I cut all the spokes. The box also wasn't sealed, though it wasn't missing any parts or decals. The shield falls off the kit a bit too easy, my only complaint about the kit itself.The kit itself is a gem. It's a 2020 kit, using the 2019 MG Dynames frame as much as possible. This gives it much of the same phenomenal stability and range of motion. And it feels like a modern kit. The plastic is nicer, Most (sadly not all) of the nubs are placed in ways that hides them, and the undergating helps give some extra detailing and color separation. You'll want to clean the nubs up a bit to ensure parts attach well, and of course the ones that are in more visible spots should be handled with care. The darker plastics do still scuff easy when cutting or sanding nubs.The colors are killer, but especially the orange. This isn't your normal cheese puffs orange plastic. It's not cheap looking Nerf orange. It's orange plastic that looks grand. Especially in natural daylight. The holographic slide in GN wiring look nice in the light, the color correcting stickers are good and very few in number, and the waterslide decals look very sharp.Kit is fully transformable, sits on the stand well in both ship and Gundam shapes, and I really can't recommend it enough.

This was only $55?? This is easily the best value I've ever gotten from a gunpla model. I've paid twice the price for models with parts that constantly fall off or are loose/wobbly.Kyrios is absolutely solid. The parts truly feel like they're master grade. All the pieces come together with a juicy snap that tells me they're stable. Poseability is excellent as the parts have a wide range of motion, and the arms and legs don't show a tendency to come off while trying to pose. The weapons actually stay in his hands, and the hands/fingers don't constantly fall off when I try to attach guns/beam sabers like with some of the Gundam Wing EW series models I've built.I definitely would like to check out the other Gundam 00 models after such a positive experience.

if you want an affordable master grade, this is your go-to. took a bit to assemble, but the end result was worth it. picture doesnt do it justice, but this kit's range of motion is insane considering it's arms are done differently than most MG's. it's little gimmick is badass too. i would recommend a stand. im waiting on a stand so i can fully pose it to my heart's desire.if you want a budget gundam, grab this dude.

I absolutely love this model. A very small amount of the range of motion we saw with dynames was sacrificed for the transformation, but considering how cool the flight form looks, I'm not sure most people will even display kyrios posed up out of flight form very often. Build was simple for a mg, and snapped together in just a couple hours. Looks good with or without stickers and panel lining, I just love these new 00 kits so much.

Second master grade. First was Virtue.To start, the build quality was really good. The plastic felt great. There are also very few exposed gates that need to be shaved down.Once built, the articulation is really nice and panel lining it is really easy. It's also not a hand grenade: it won't explode if you drop it. That said, please get this thing a stand!I love the 00 mobile suits and hope more of them get master grades in this type. That said, I didn't think I'd enjoy Kyrios as much as I did. This thing is awesome!

I forgot to fully decal the weapons but it kind of feels like i got him to complete the 00 team. Orange is a fun color though. The hollow feet bother me. Suprisingly the whole ship section on his back isn't that heavy.

One of the most enjoyable, and unique Gundam builds of the year. The ability to turn into a space jet is also plus. There are a lot of very small decals and faux lights that really require someone experienced so definitely not for a beginner, but everyone else should put this, and Gundam Dynames on their must have list. Reallt great set!

A beautiful recreation of the suit from the show. Holds together wonderfully. very sturdy construction for a model that can transform to a flight form. a fine addition to my collection and I'm excited to get the rest of the first season suits from 00!
