Blood, Bones and Body Bits (Horrible Science)

The kid's science books by Nick Arnold are everything you hope for in kid's books. Interesting, funny, good illustration, understandable. Our 8 year old carries them around reading the "good" parts out loud so we can share with her. I highly recommend any of Nick Arnold's books.

My kids loved the series of these books. I really enjoyed them myself. The book talks in child language and often makes themlaugh or say "Gross!". It makes the information stick in theirminds. Nicely written in a child's point of view.

This is a cute book with great details on the body's inner workings. It is rather graphic, so I wouldn't recommend it for children under 8, and some kids wouldn't enjoy it even at that age. We are using it as part of the Guest Hollow Jr Anatomy homeschooling curriculum, and it does contribute significantly to that program.

I believe this book has to be one of the best science books in the biz. It got me wondering all about the body and how it works. It's a must read if you love science or even if you cringe at the word, it will make horrible science come alive.

I use to be bored about science,but after I read this book, I love it! And EVERY SINGLE WORD he wrote is true.I swear to God.Poke a Neadle in my eyes if its wrong!

Blood, Bones and Body Bits is a wonderful book exellent for children but also very good for adults.It explains in a very nice and funny way about your body. And Nick Arnold is a exellent writer and the drawings of Tony De Saulles are nice but also funny

Disappointing. Maybe it was my expectations that caused the problem. I expected and hoped it was a humorous discussion that would draw and keep the attention of an 8 yr old, instead its more like a dumbed down text book.

I made it about 22 pages before the first anti-west jab occurred. It was completely unnecessary about using slaves noses. Somehow people seem to think only the west ever had slaves. Apparently, you can't get away from politics nowadays in every topic. I just use it as an opportunity to point out how dumb the comment is. I will refrain from using their books now. It's too bad since I share the same type of humor but I'm definitely more educated when it comes to history.

Best book 𝙄 𝙇𝙊𝙑𝙀 𝙄𝙏!!! Not only kids also adults should read this book..... This book have so many facts a person can't get to know even he/she is dead....... Read it be a brilliant 🌟

No me gusta, es demasiado aburrido, repite mucho las cosas y cuenta cosas que no son nada interesantes en el aprendizaje

I bought this as a way of encouraging a pupil of mine to find out things for themselves. As the book is set out in a less formal and often humerous way this seemed to appeal to this lads way of thinking. At last I've found something he wants to read. I well recommend this series of books.

この本は、インドネシア在住の知人（日本人)の子供（小３）の為に買いました。インターナショナルスクールの小学生としては、漢字の入った本より英語のほうが良いだろうと思って、プレゼント用に買いました。現地では医学書は分厚く、ハンディーではないので、人体に興味を持ち始めた小３には、この本は良かったようで、渡したらすぐに読み入ってました。本人からは評価は聞いていないけど、中のイラストが気味悪くなるようなカラー印刷ではないこともいいのかもしれません。興味があれば、決して　horrible　とは思えませんでした。
