the only brand transmission fluid that i will use
it wears very well and holds up and lubricates as it should. i also noticed that a slight shudder went away when using this brand of fluid.

Great source for transmission fluid
Great to order online. Lower price than two states worth of auto parts stores, and can get a decent brand. I just wish the quantity wasn't so limited and that there was an option for multi-quart bottles.

Mercon V is a transmission fluid for many vehicle applications. It is what my truck calls for. Not all vehicles take this fluid. Check what fluid you need before ordering any fluid.This particular offer was indeed special. It was essentially half price.Valvoline products are high quality.

It works with my Rav4 '98. Actually the engine /transmission is now running so much better & quiet than I expected. It is totally different than my old fluid which I have run around 70,000 Km.I strongly recommend this product those who need to change the transmission fluid, I am very happy with this product!

Good for Older Ford's Requiring Mercon V Fluid.
This Valvoline Mercon V Fluid is a great substitute for the Ford Motorcraft Mercon V which is getting harder to find. Ford is trying to get vehicle owners to use Mercon LV which can damage older 4R70W transmissions in older F150s, Crown Victoria's, Grand Marquis', Lincoln Town Cars and other older Ford cars requiring Mercon V fluids. Owners of older Ford's have reported issues with using Mercon LV from shuddering to transmission failures. Only use Mercon V in older Ford's requiring it. Again, this is a good substitute as it's formulated for transmissions requiring Mercon V. Read your owner's manual. P.S Don't let your mechanic or a Ford dealer tech. sucker you into using Mercon LV in older Ford's, stick with the Mercon V.
