The product miraculously made it to my house without major damage despite the packaging being the worst possible! No bubble wrap, no fill material. Just the board rattling around this huge box. One corner got dinged, but it won't affect my project. I'm tired of amazon not putting any packing material in these boxes. It can't cost more than having to replace a damaged product.The board itself is lightweight and semi flexible. I would recommend using the 1\2 or thicker boards for construction of an reptile enclosures. 1\4 inch is just not rigid enough to bear weight. I will be cutting mine into 6x48 strips as a substrate barrier in my existing reptile enclosures.

The corners and most of the edges came bent in and banged up. If you need a full 24 x 48 inches I don't think you will get it. I needed the full 48" long but only 10" wide. I was able to use a section in the center that had the least damage on the ends. It cuts well on a table saw and the end product came out nice. I used Gorilla PVC glue and that worked well.

I ordered bigger then needed and good thing OEM box had no packing just roused the sheet into an over sized box came with all 4 edges chipped up so I had to rip it down on all 4 sides... I uses a plexi blade and it still was not worth it... should of stuck with ABS or plexi/lexan

Looks like a great product. Shipping needs help. Arrived in an oversized box with no internal bracing and 3 corners were smashed in.

Box arrived completely destroyed but somehow the product wasn’t damaged. It’s pretty neat stuff.. difficult to describe. I was able to cut it with a box cutter with several passes. It’s heavier than I expected it to be. I duct taped it to the back of my aquarium to give it a matte black background. Works pretty well but I think a thinner piece would have sufficed.

As others have mentioned the packaging of this is terrible, it would be very easy to protect the corners inside the box. Also, it is most definitely not black, it's a very dark grey so I ended up having to spray paint it to match the other parts of my project that were black.

Item arrived on time and un-damaged. Very dense plastic sheet solid and rigid, much better than I thought it would be after reading a couple reviews. I bought this to create a tool holding pallet for a new tool case, it is exactly the item required to complete this project. I will buy this item and others from this seller in the future.

I've started using this material a lot lately, due mostly to the fact that it doesn't care about water.
