Nice Fine Points
I bought the ZIG brand because I had four ZIG brand similar pens that had been sitting in a drawer for about 15 years. Got them out to color on an adult coloring book I bought and they were still fine!

Great brilliant colors, difficult to use.
I wanted to love these. The color is vibrant and there is a good selection. But what makes this a 3 star is that they are difficult to color with on both sides. The small tip doesn't deposit a lot of color and the larger tip is too rounded for medium-small detail. I'm using them now with my Faber-Castell PITT artist brush pens. Even though I'm not pleased with the application of these specific markers, I like the vibrant color of the Kuretake Zig, that I'm considering getting the brush tip ones, to see if they are any better. These are just extremely time consuming to use. They also don't blend well with each other or other brushes. While the small tip does good detailed lines, the color deposit isn't great, nothing like my PITT or prismacolor maker small tips, on the other hand the larger tip does horrible lines because it's rounded without a point and you can't see where you are drawing or coloring with it. The color deposit is also excessive - it doesn't dry quickly and I've ended up smearing it while working on a different spot on my work.I can't recommend them, I haven't used them to do renderings, but I feel it would just drive me crazy.Using a marker shouldn't be a chore, I only reach for them now when I can't find the color I want, and I mentally prepare myself for the endeavor, knowing that it's going to a) not be blendable, b) be time consuming c) possibly bleed or smear.

Best Out There
I am a bit of a pen and marker hoarder. These are by far the best for writing and using in a planner. They are comfortable to hold, pretty colors, do not smudge easily, and the lines stay sharp (no bleeding into an incomprehensible blob like some others similar pens...Ohuhu).I plan to get a bigger set and expand into metallics from this brand.

I was very pleased with the color and quality of the thread in this set as well as the variety of colors. I bought a Brother sewing machine and wanted a large variety of colors because I work with clothing on a daily basis to repair and also love to do crafts such as quiet books. I have to confess I haven't used this thread on my machine yet, but it looks like it is great quality and beautiful colors. I'll post another review after I have actually used it - then maybe I can leave 5 stars!

How quickly my order arrived
I could not find these pens locally at all, and I really like them. I did not need that many but I’m happy to have any.

Not as pictured
While the picture hints at a wide nib, both ends are fine tipped. Read the description carefully to be sure it's what you want. I returned the set immediately.

good small tip, but hard, blunt large 'tip'
I think I was looking for 'brush tip', like some of the calligraphy markers. These have a more rounded, harder 'large end', which I find to be too blunt and is not useful to me. The 'small end' is good, but feels redundant to my existing gel pens - perhaps I will enjoy these markers anyway.I like the lyra and prismacolor markers. I do not like the Sargeant washable brush tip markers.
