Stiffness, tension, and diameter (gauge) all affect apparent scale length, intonation compensation, and nut slut width. Most strings specify their tension and diameter but not stiffness, probably because there is no commonly accepted objective measure that is also useful for determining the effect on apparent scale length and intonation. If you change from Savarez 500CJ strings, you may need a luthier skilled in voicing and intonation adjustments to get as good as or better voice and intonation as what you have right now. Don't be surprised if the intonation, especially on the G string, is not as good with different strings until you get it adjusted and compensation set again. **Q: II bought a Cordoba C5 and a string just broke. Can you replace string with another type such as 500 CRJ which has better reviews?** A: yes **Q: Do you have flamenco guitar string in low tension** A: One of my favorite Flamenco strings is the Savarez Tomatito T50R strings and they are normal tension, but they sound great. i have not put them on any Flamenco guitar that did not sound better with them. The basses give nice deep lows, which I like, and the high strings use carbon (I think) to give clear and bright highs that someone I know compared to the sound of a harp. I originally had this brand of strings on a cheaper Cordoba guitar.
