The most important feature, for me, is strong rings that don't get mis aligned.I like the clear plastic covers and spine for placing labels.I use these every year for tax returns, financial documents, and important correspond.As for an improvement, how about a finger hole like the European standard binders ?It makes them easier to pull out from a shelf.

Pro - made in Mexico instead of ChinaCon - Flimsiest "Heavy Duty" Avery binders I have ever handled. Very light weight and covers flex as if there is no cardboard support between the vinyl covers.No clue how long they will last but they sure don't feel like it will be long. Wife using them for recipe storage so they get handled a lot. Time will tell.

Oh, that Avery push tab to open the binder? Better than sliced bread. Avery….always Avery. Recommended in any size of binder.

You pay for what you get. Our kindergarten teacher that makes curriculum biters for each child I used to buy by binders from Costco. They were labeled “heavy duty. They were thick at a good price. These can easily get a dent just by dropping them.
