Very well made. Pleased with order

Quality is much better than I expected. Uniform color and stitching. Opens and closes with a confident snap. Very stiff out of the box but should loosen up after some leather conditioner (or leave it as is) and being used over time. I would suggest a knife about 4.5”-5” closed (5” being the maximum) and no more than 1.5” wide. The sheath “pocket” is 4” deep, so any knife shorter than 4.5” or 4.25” and you will struggle getting ahold of the knife with your fingers. I suppose if you had a shorter knife you could stuff some tissue or piece of fabric down into the bottom of the sheath so your knife would sit high enough to grab ahold of. Overall an excellent value and I’m very happy with the sheath.

Fits my Case Sod Buster 4 11/16" length and width. There is an extra 1/2" of length available when the snap is closed. Color medium brown, snap seems okay, slightly stiff, and there is a tanning/dying odor, not the smell of "new" leather. I am going to put the leather case in the sun for a day to "air it out". If that does not work, I will try saddle soap. Time will tell on the workmanship.Update - airing out did not work, Heavy Lysol spray did not work. I may soak it in saddle soap suds next. Otherwise, I will use the Buck scabbard my buddy gave me last night. :)

Got rigging knifes for my daughter, her husband, and my grandson before we departed Seattle for a trip south in their Phil Brookes Fast Passage. Reinforced the stitching because I am an old sailor and NOTHING is as good as my SEWING. Everyone loved them.

I use this often. Do not wear a belt knife or multi-tool every day. When I do, this goes with it. Well made and looks good.
