Great design and fabric. After an entire summer of sun and chlorine, these shorts have held up--no shredding or rips, and the color has stayed bright. Careful to wash in cold water only and hang to dry for longevity.

Purchased for a young person I took in... They fit, stayed on, and did the job well as he went through training and worked as a lifeguard. There were some concerns regarding fit because he is a transgender individual, but his hips proved no challenge for these lifeguard trunks. They always dried quickly and looked good. No one questioned whether or not they had to follow the rules with these shorts clinging to him!

I’m a lifeguard at a small community pool, bout 30k gallons. Since it’s my first year I had to buy a uniform and the ones my company recommended were Sportys or however you spell it. They were nice, at 1st. However, after the second wash, ON GENTLE/DELICATE, these shorts actually just started falling apart. The stitching on the side was coming undone and really small holes started forming, kind of like how ripped jeans look. I was going to put up with it because I did spend like 20 on the shorts, but one day a fly landed on me and tried to crawl into the open side stitching and I tweaked. Ordered this pair about an hour later lol.These shorts absolutely destroy any credibility Sporty’s Temu quality shorts had. These are super durable, I like that they’re longer, have an extra pocket where I keep my ppe and sometimes Chem test stuff, and overall just better. Also better tie strings as well. For like $10 more, if I had known these existed that first day of my job I definitely would’ve got them. After a wash, which I realized I wasn’t supposed to do lol, these are still holding up just as new and I plan on wearing these the rest of the summer and beyond. W product

Company that I work for provided me with a very cheap pair of guard shorts. These that I had to buy out of my own pocket are 100 times better. They are strong, and the letters haven’t started to even yet. They come with a inside liner but I just cut it out! Would recommend these shorts!

My son prefers this brand so much that I purchased a second pair. He's worked full time as a life guard all summer and these have held up nicely.

My son really liked the look of these, but they were too small for him even though he’s a large in every other pair of shorts. It wouldn’t even make it over his thighs they were that much smaller. If you are getting these I suggest getting a size bigger.
