This is a good fire starter cubes and very affordable as well. Tried it today and it doesn’t look like it provides enough fire, but it worked great actually. I am very happy with it and will be using this for a long time when starting my charcoals.

Burns slow but does the job

These are my favorite fire starters that I’ve ever bought. The best part is the sheer longevity. I bought these probably 2 years ago, I grill more than the average person, and I’ve only used 3 of the 6 sheets. I use 1-2 every cook, whether I’m starting up a chimney of charcoal or starting some coals in a minion method or 2 zone/ smoking setup. They always get things started right up, and they’re easy to light. I was buying a new pack of the wax cubes or other alternatives every couple of months before I came across these. Love the all natural aspect also.

Delivery was on time and cost was good but the past products I have purchased from same brand had the square cubes cut deeper into squares so they would break off cleanly and not take a knife to tear apart and not be so hard to break off and tear up when broken apart so this brand has let me down compared to my past usage with this same product purchased before. When you need to break them apart to use the product needs to be stamped deeper into the squares to make breaking them easier and make a cleaner break too not so that it shreds the squares and makes a mess to use. They light easy and work well but not user friendly to break apart. No smell or flavor was noticed

I break these up into individual squares and use two of them to start a fire in our woodstove without any kindling. It makes it so much quicker to get the stove going when we need to build a fire.

I purchased this product as I wanted to try something other than the old KindlStone I had been using. I was hoping this was going to provide me with a quick and simple way to start my charcoal chimeny. Thus far, I have been pretty disappointed. Tried to light two chimney's this past weekend using this product and ended up going back to the KindlStone for both attempts. Does this product work? Well, it catches on fire, but the flame produced isn't really large or hot enough to ignite the charcoal in my chimney, so I would say NO, but if you read other reviews here....it sounds like it is the greatest one time use lighter ever invented. Give it a go for yourself, but me....I am going back to my old standby...KindlStone, I am sorry for ever doubting you (even as expensive as you are).

Easy to light and they get my charcoal chimney going every time, even it a fair amount of wind.

I had to burn up a lot of garden waste, much of which was damp from a period of wet weather. I used several blocks to get the fire going and it all worked out well. I'll use them again in the future for more outdoor burning.

Nice large qty. box of small square fire starters. I found them a good option for getting my wood burning fireplace going in place of Fatwood sticks.

I used these blocks to boil water in my small camping cooker (500ml). These fire starters are excellent for this purpose, as the blocks are dry, non greasy, and easy to break off. The flame remains at a manageable height (not lapping up the side of the cooker and melting the rubber handles). I used two blocks in one go which provided flame for a good 10 minutes. The blocks give off a little smoke and a mild acrid smell (a much better smell than the gel type tablets). The blocks also do not melt and run-off in a ‘fiery napalm’ like the gel types, leaving your patio with a white residue. The blocks will leave soot on your cooker which can be wiped off easily. Very pleased with the product.
