On the spendy side but this thing cuts thru 4/0 like buttah. With minimal maintenance it should last a lifetime.

It's a Klein so what else is there to say. Top notch copper cable cutter. ---Cannot be used for anything harder than copper or aluminum multistrand.

Bought these specifically for 4/0 wire. I was building an inverter and Battery system for a customer's camper and needed a stronger cutter than what I had. These cut through 4/0 wire smoothly. Not a lot of force required and made roughly 35 cuts on the first day with no issue at all.

Rewiring the 12V system in my camper and decided to make my own cables. These cutters make quick work of 4/0 copper wire. I tried using some cheaper ones and ended up buying these. Cuts very clean and flush. Highly recommend for larger wire cutting.

Fantastic cutters, sliced right through thick 864F with ease enabling me to do it one handed. Time will tell how durable they are but I have faith in Klein especially their made in USA products

Klein tools are great tools makes your job easier. But I don't feel any difference between the 63050 (9" cutter) & this 63035 (14" cutter) both do a great job with the same effort.

Cuts 4/0 welding cable like butter.

I bought this to fabricate battery cables for my boat which needs 2/0 AWG (very large) wires. It cut through it so easily I had my wife do one of the cuts just to see what I was talking about. Other cutters I've used have smashed the cables as they cut, creating a situation where the wire won't fit into round terminals without wasting time re-shaping it. This cutter has curved jaws which actually make a straight cut and they are extremely sharp. Kline Tools are consistently great quality and this is no exception.

Klein Tools 63035 large 16" long cable cutter - reviews mentioning it takes superhuman strenght to be able to cut a 4/0 cable might be for the wrong product because it *cleanly* cuts wire that gauge like butter with minimal effort !

Calidad

These cutters are garbage. One cut of 3/0 copper and they were badly damaged. By the end of 1 install they were completely destroyed. They claim they can cut up to 350 MCM but couldn’t even handle a much smaller size. Buy the greenlee ones instead I had them before and they’ve never done this even after hundreds of cuts.
