I will preface this review by saying that I was initially skeptical on ordering these as I have always used the standard nuts and screws that came with whatever hardware I was installing. Well I am now enlightened to the almighty that is Rackstuds, these are hands down one of the best products I have ever bought. No more getting my fingers shredded to pieces, an end to my hands being numb after squeezing various cage nuts into and out of place. These are an absolute dream and I have used them to mount various bits of hardware from 48 port PoE switches to shelves to patch panels. They just work, you clip them in, slide in the securing piece and screw on. They are as, if not more secure than the a nut and screw and they are much easier to install, move and remove when you are done. If ever you are doing a cab re-fit or a new install/tidy up, buy these, do not be lead down the "oh but the extra costs". Do it for your fingers and hands. You will not be disappointed

These work really well for mountain all sorts of rack equipment, very strong and easy to remove if needed

Such a simple and elegant solution, to what is a basic yet frustrating pain in any cabinet/rack build. Very impressed, just go a bit gentle with tightening them up at the end with Screwdrivers, too much torque even with basis unaided driver can damage the head, but once learnt this is easily overcome and doesn't reduce the effectiveness of the fitting. Great product, nicely done!

Be aware that these are for proper square-holed rack rails and will not work with the new-fangled moulded racks which have round, threaded strips for bolting in your equipment. Square is the best and these bad-boys are awesome. They look cool and are cool!!!

Didn’t work for either of my racks. Customer support was great but I wasted my money

Por fin un sistema para trabajar en racks sin dejarte las uñas y los dedos y pudiendo trabajar uno solo sin ayuda: colocas los cuatro Rackstuds del dispositivo que quieras montar en el rack, insertas el dispositivo y ya sólo tienes apretar las "tuercas" de cierre sin hacer malabarismos sujetando el dispositivo. Ahora ya sólo falta que bajen de precio y adiós a los tradicionales tornillos con tuerca de rack.

The best purchase I've made for networking. These things are so much better than metal studs and screws. Everything got replaced by these (except for my servers which are too heavy)
