Reference World Atlas, Eleventh Edition: An Encyclopedia in an Atlas (DK Reference Atlases)

Our purchase was based in part on great experiences with prior DK publications in travel and guide books. DK has a high quality of photos and maps, and an interesting and organized presentation about things associated with the countries and cities shown on the maps as well as physical geography notes about geology, ocean geography and natural resources. Please note the size of the book. It has about 350 pages, with a format of 11+inches W by 15 inches H and weighs about 6 pounds US. It would have been interesting to me from about 9th grade to present.

Personal reference

As an avid student of geography, I am upgrading from the Reference Atlas (small, handy to carry) to this larger, more detailed atlas. I am proud to own it.

Delivery was prompt and well packaged. The atlas is an up to date atlas and gazetteer. An excellent quality reference book.

The center atlas is not fully visible due to binding.UK centric map. Yet just about every country is shown in a wonderful way.
