Perfect!
This desk was just the perfect replacement desk I needed after turning a room in my newly purchased home into my man cave/home office. The desk offers a lot of space on both desk ends and the monitor stand supports my two 27" wide screen monitors. Storage nooks under the monitor stand are great and help to keep my desk neat and organized. I have hidden my PC tower, wireless router, and other home networking gizmos in the cabinet with no noticeable heat increase due to leaving the back panel off for air flow. I was able to assemble this entire desk by myself in under an hour and a half, however I needed the help of a neighbor to move the dropped off package from my driveway up to the second floor of my house. All in all I am very satisfied as this desk is VERY sturdy and well built. The only downside I can see is that it would require two people at least to move it around, so I suggest you build it near the area you plan on placing it. 5 stars from me :)

I love the working and area and the desk setup
The desk is huge and allows you to have a lot on your desk and still have a working area. I currently have two laptops docked and a dual monitor setup with plenty else on the desk and still plenty of space. I love the working and area and the desk setup. My biggest issues with it (and why I docked it a star) are:1) Assembly, as others have said, is a big job. It's doable by one person but with a lot of clever positioning and balancing and/or extra work. If you need to move it to another room you will definitely have to take it apart because it's so big and disassembly and re-assembly are cumbersome.2) Extremely difficult to move. Even removing most/all of the things from the desk, it's a struggle. Being a big desk, it's very heavy . The center of mass and support locations make it a hassle. The separate pieces (left, middle, right) start to separate a bit as you move them, even with the joints tightly on. If you lift from the outside edges (left and right side, the joints bend and the center caves. We had two people try to lift together, each holding the center with one hand end the edge with another and it still bends. If you try to use three people from inside, the outside pulls down a bit, and having one person on the outside is not very useful if you want to move it against a wall.3) The keyboard tray pieces were not processed properly and left with very jagged cuts. When I pushed the keyboard in/moved to pull it out, my hand sometimes rubbed against the mount and would scratch my skin constantly. I had to put some tape on the edge.

Make sure you have plenty of bandaids and TAO!
First off, it's a decent desk. The biggest issues are as follows.... The pc tower cabinet is a waste for most desktop towers as it prevents air intake, and is frankly too small. The slide out rollers for the keyboard are too wobbly and are garbage. Replace them with quality purpose built ones. The bigest gripe I have with the entirety on this desk are the edges. I have cut the living crap out of my arms and hands numerous times owing to the rediculously sharp edges. The only thing not sharp is the front face of the desk. That alone makes me approach this desk with a bit of wariness....UPDATE: Three months in and the desk top is delaminating in numerous places. The top surface is not sealed well at all and it absords moisture, and the particle board does the rest. WOULD NOT BUY OR RECOMMEND!

It's too difficult to put all thsose thousands of pieces ...
It's too difficult to put all thsose thousands of pieces together. Instructions are not cleared. Even after put the pieces together, you can not move the table as its not stable. But the table and pieces are too heavy

3 Stars Only Because Once I MacGyver'd it to Work, it was Actually Nice
BUYER BEWARE: if you want this desk to work, you'll have to think outside the box and add in your own alterations so this doesn't come crashing down on you under the weight of the first pin drop.My story is a bit of a long one, but it seems typical with a lot of the bad reviews I see here. I'll start at the beginning. I'm a writer, and I was looking to move in the coming months and wanted a nice work station desk to put in my new place. So, this desk went on sale back in February, and I bought it, knowing it would come in handy when I actually moved. Until then it would stay in the box.Fast forward two months. It's April, and it's move in day. I get all my boxes in, including this desk, and after I'm settled I decide it's time to finally get this huge box out of the way (this desk comes in a huge, heavy box) and use this desk that's been staring at me on the other side of cardboard for too long. I tear the box open, get all the pieces out (there are many) and start to inventory my task because it looks like it'll be a doozy. First thing I noticed when all the pieces were out: no instruction booklet. Not one piece of paper amongst these twenty some pieces and bags of parts. But that was no big deal. I went online and downloaded it in a few seconds.Okay, problem averted. For the first step it says connect piece 31 to something or other, so I start looking around and it seems all the pieces are labeled except one and none of them read "31". The unmarked piece looked about the right size and shape as the picture of 31, so I shrugged and started connecting the pieces. Once I got started, the first thing I noticed was this desk was not nice. The pieces were fitted together with nothing more than studs and tighteners and didn't seem like it hold that much weight, but I continued. About 4 hours later, after some really shoddy connections and reconnections due to the instructions being nothing but really badly displayed pictures, it was time to connect that 31 that I started with, which is the right side leg, to the rest of the desk. But the holes weren't right. The holes would make the desk lopsided, and it wouldn't match the rest of the desk. Now, some of you may think, "Well, why didn't you send it back?" at this point. But to that I say, IT HAD BEEN FOUR HOURS OF INTENSIVE BUILDING AFTER SITTING AROUND FOR TWO MONTHS. No, there was no sending it back. I was bound and determined. So, since this is made of nothing but particle wood, I drilled in some new holes and corrected the issue. Only, no matter how tight I turned those tighteners the right leg wouldn't hold up the desk top. So, I had to put a bracket on the backside and drill a screw into the connecting middle part of the desk to reinforce it.When it was all said and done, it was about 7 and a half hours of building that made me feel like MacGyver. And as much as I'd like to say, "I hate you Bestar for such a shoddily-made-way-too-expensive-for-what-you're-getting desk," after I put in all my alterations it turned out to be a nice, sturdy desk that is actually a joy to work on. So, I'm giving this three stars instead of the one it probably deserves. If you don't mind a nice looking but cheaply made desk that's a pain to build and that you'll have to alter yourself to make work, then this your piece. If not, get something else. You'll be sorry if you didn't.
